I broke my dominant wrist, arm, and hand and was unable to properly groom him for 3 months or drive so you can just imagine how bad is fur was once I got my brace off and was even close to being able to try to use my hand and wrist. The razor or cutting his hair wasn’t an option as his hair was that bad and I could not yet do that ad I didn’t have the function yet and still wasn’t able to drive so this product was a handful of things I ordered but one of the first things I tried since I have used this line of products on my own hair and know how great they are. If you have read my reviews before I am very honest as I depend on reviews for my own purchases. 1) It worked - it really did! I was honestly hopeless on thinking I could actually get them out and I was sure he was going to have to go some place to have them cut out and be groomed which was going to be traumatic for him as I have always groomed him since I am highly allergic to non hypoallergenic dogs and most perfumes so groomers, pet smart, and even the vet are asthmatic for me. But I spray it on - I rubbed it in with my hands like I was petting him - getting it deep and I let it sit - then I started brushing him and the brush started to slowly ease right through! 2) The product is not watery to me it’s oily but that’s what makes it work. 3) The bottle size is the size as stated- and the price is on point if not lower imo as you would spend in store. This is high end hair products. 4) The ingredients smell great, work great, made his fur easy to brush and shiny. This product really saved my fur baby from getting shaved down. 5) I’m sticking with this product now just because as poodles have super sensitive skin and this doesn’t bother him and it doesn’t bother my asthma and it smells great and works great. Best way to get after knots and mats is to do a few each day and only when you have time and patience! This spray just made the hair slide right through with the mat comb much easier. I could almost pull a few out with my fingers. Just do a section at a time. Spray and let it wet the fur completely for several minutes then work on each section. I’m happy with my purchase and its smells so good. I have a wheaten terrier with long hair, not shaved or cut short. Groomed every 6 weeks at a groomer.
