Should've bought one of these years ago. Very comfy and useful. Recently set up music area in my home office, to play acoustic guitar. The back rest is a plus and almost no assembly. I bought an open box special, 20% off and it was perfect. For guitar stand at the bottom, mixed feeling on that. Not sure I will use. Gets in the way a little, your foot etc.. Some cotter pins hold it on, still trying to figure out or decide to remove it, someday.Anyway, overall, this chair is excellent to sit and play your guitar...

I bought this chair to use for practice and playing live. I also just had total hip replacement on my left hip.I was slightly nervous about one of the comments about tumbling over backwards and going back to the hospital….Well, after receiving my chair I found it to be both strong and sturdy. If there was an issue about the back support being easily loose and coming apart, well I could see that was not the case. There is a solid nut that is welded to the thing and it is not easily coming apart.I have no fear or problem with the stability on this chair.The chair is very well made and compact enough to take along with me. I look forward to my next gig with a great looking comfortable and safe new seat.I like that it is taller and has a place to put my feet on. Buy with confidence 👍👍!

I found an additional cushion to put on the seat and covered the whole thing with a stretch cushion cover. That really helped the comfort over several hours. The back could stand to be adjusted a little further back, and it would have made a big difference if the back itself could swivel to reach a comfortable angle instead of being fixed.Having said all that, though, it's a sturdy well-made product that I expect to get years of use out of.EDIT, 5 MONTHS LATER:I take some of the sturdiness comments back. There's a bracket that's attached to the underside of the seat, intended to form a channel for the backrest beam to slide into to be tightened in place. This bracket is intended to be bolted onto a metal baseplate on the seat bottom. The problem is that the bolts that hold all this on ultimately thread into little threaded bushings embedded in the plywood (I assume) seat body, and those bushings are so short that they strip loose from the wood and (like in the case of another reviewer), you can take an unexpected tumble backwards. These bushings are definitely the Achilles' heel of the design.

This stool is easy to assemble and is a perfect fit for me as a beginner to playing guitar. The adjustable back makes it even more comfortable than a backless stool. The fact that it folds up and is easy to store is also a bonus. It is sturdy and I look forward to using this for many years to come. This stool is just as adversitzed and is worth the money.

Just got my Pyle guitar seat and man o man does it live up to all the expectations. As you know playing a guitar with proficiency require comfort and good support. in the opening statements of all lesson planners and instructors is a four prong statement which 2 of the 4 are posture and tension management. in other words the pros think so highly of the role the Pyle seat plays to allow 50% of good playing to these factors. So thanks to Pyle my postue and tension management are well looked after. Thank you Pyle for personaly looking me Jerry V

Bought this chair as a gift in August of 2023. Wasn’t a constant use of the seat. Less than a year screw came out. As of now it had to be thrown away. Completely fell apart. For the cost you would think it would last, but no. Not durable for even the lightest of use.

I gave it a 3 over all because it is comfortable, easy to use and looks cool. But I haven't even had it a week and it's already broken. All I did was lean back slightly on the back rest and the screws came off.Am going to contact support to see if I can get another one.

This seat is awesome. It sits my back straight up with me even thinking about. Very easy assembly. I will be able to practice guitar for a lot longer now. And the seat is a guitar stand also. 2 for 1.
