This seems to be all marketing..if you aren't usda certified organic, then you aren't truly organic. how can you call yourself an organic ingredient?

In order for a product to be USDA certified organic, a product has to be certified from the farm to the packaging process. At Pure Organic Ingredients, we only source potato starch that would qualify for organic certification. However, our potato starch is packaged in our new packaging facility that has not yet been certified. Because of this, we do not advertise it as such or include the USDA's seal on our packaging. The National Organic Program specifies a “National List of Approved and Prohibited Substances“. Our potato starch meets the requirements of this section as the raw materials used for the manufacture of the products, nor the products themselves were treated in any way that would make them not a certifiable organic ingredient. Pure Organic Ingredients confirms that neither the raw materials we use for the manufacture of our products, nor the products themselves, are treated with ionizing radiation. Also, sewage sludge is not used in our production process and handling. At Pure Organic Ingredients, we only offer high quality products that we use ourselves.

There are approximately 100 mg. of potassium per tablespoon of Pure Organic Ingredients Potato Starch.

Good product!

I love potato starch. It’s very hard to find potato starch, but it works with so many things.! it’s always being used for my gluten-free foods. I only wish the package came in a much bigger size!

Good for those who are looking for gluten free

I bought this to use in gluten free baking. It didn't take me long to realize that gluten free baking is a monster all of it's own. I won't be using it for that, but it does work well for making thickener for soups and gravy. The taste is just like any other thickener so no problem there. But there are other options that I prefer, so I most likely won't be purchasing this again.

I accidentally wrote a review on this seller in error! I am SO sorry. This product is perfect, I am trying more recipes at home, many of them Asian, and they call for potato starch. This makes THE best fried chicken and wings! I always wondered how restaurants get that delicious crunch and this is their secret! So glad I found this!
