Bought as a treat for myself. The cover of the tree of life is beautiful and well embarrassed with a stone/"gem" in the center. The leather is of lovely thick quality and well hand made. The paper which is lined(I need the lenses these days to help with my writing as I have Parkinson's) is thick quality with plenty of pages. I haven't checked how easy it would be to refill it as stated yet. I bought my son a different design and colour as he goes through lots of them for his LARP characters ND storylines. He can't have modern plastic/metal when on the LARP fields as everything has to be in character/time frame(medieval dungeon and dragon ND fae folk type things) he loves it. Said it was perfect size(easy to carry around to update at events) ND agreed it was lovely quality etc. said it was handy it was refillable. So yes I would buy again for myself and as gifts.

Really nice present for the person who likes the original things in life! Nicely bound and packaged. Postage cost was a sting though 😂but it arrived super fast!

I fell in love with this book at first sight. In these days of computers, emails, texts etc. The art of letter writing has fallen by the wayside. I always loved receiving a letter. It would generally brighten up the start of my day, They can be kept, and referred to often. So I am starting my letter writing today. The workmanship is exceptional. The leather cover is beautiful and begs to be touched. It is so tactile! The price is really good. I would pay a lot more for something of this quality. I will be recommending it to my family and friends. It will be a perfect xmas gift.

I really like the look of this, until you open it. The paper isn’t that nice to write on and also very difficult to write on the side with the blue ball.

I was so impressed with this item. Packaged very well, came in a really beautiful fabric bag and a lovely note from the seller thanking me for my business and offering a refund if not happy with the product. The product itself is in a really beautiful leather bound outer, the design is intricate and beautiful. And the strap is simply brilliant. The quality of the paper is very high end, its think and not your normal cheap standard journal paper. For the price im pretty blown away to be honest.

I’ve wanted to journal for maybe years but all diaries or whatever have not been what I needed, either restricted for space for each date or other issues but this is just lined paper with a date to put at the top so you can date as and when you write and write and much as you want and there’s no bad feeling when there’s loads of space missing cause you can pick up when you last wrote the cover is also beautiful patterned leather and the paper is good quality

As a Norse pagan I love this design so much and I like having lines in the page as I have messy hand writing

I initially purchased this journal for a client because of the symbolism of the Tree of Life. I have several variations of the Tree of Life in my home as it is one of my favorite images. I was pleased about the the quality and the look. My client's reaction was wonderful which confirmed that I made the right purchase. I bought 3 more - one for my business partner, one for me and as a thank you gift for another client. I read the description and comments especially in the low ratings very carefully before buying the first one. I was surprised that for the price it is really leather - (I can see it in the under skin and there is the smell of leather). The journal papers does not lay flat - they give you a good amount of paper and I assume that's why there is a strap to wrap around the binder and I handle with care. I also paid attention that the journal is an insert which is why it's refillable. There was a small tear on back grey insert but it didn't take away from the functionality and quickly fixed with a piece of tape. I liked the personal thank you note - it was a nice touch. I believe as with leather, it will soften over time. Every experience is different and I wanted to be intentional and thoughtful with my review to ensure my expectations were realistic. I found this product to be excellent especially for the price. I have more expensive journals that are not this beautiful. I will definitely buy this again. I am initially giving it an overall 4 stars because it just came so I haven't had a chance to use it as yet. I forgot to add that the bag to present it in adds to the beauty of the gift. I have just updated my rating to 5 Stars.
