3-in-1 Rechargeable Torch, Covenov Emergency Power Failure Night Light, Automatic Motion Sensor Light,Plug-in Wall Night Lamp

It seems to be well made however it doesn't function very well. It comes on with motion as expected but them it blinks like a caution light for 10 minutes..very annoying. I just want it to come on when I get up in the middle of the night and not blink for the next ten minutes while lying in bed.

DesignThe flood light and flash light position are well placed to maintain a compact design. The light itself is detachable from the charging base, which is a must these days in emergency lighting. This unit is charged by induction, not requiring any metallic contact points between the base unit and the light housing, which is helpful as you do not have to worry about this device not charging if the contacts become dirty or are not properly seated. Removing the unit from the base is simple, not having to worry about any latching or retention mechanism and placing the unit back into the base unit is just as easy.It would be nice if the unit did not cover the outlet above it. One can mitigate this with an L angle outlet extension, but that’s an additional piece that you need in order to use both of your outlets. By moving the design of the unit a little lower, both outlets would be usable without additional hardware.I rate the design of this product as a 4/5.Build QualityThis product does not need to have an extremely solid feel or metal housing to perform its job. The build is sufficient for the uses that it will be mostly subjected to. I do have a little concern with this product being able to survive impacts from being dropped or ran into when someone passes by. Time will tell and I will return to update this review if necessary. I rate the build quality of this product as a 4/5.PerformanceThis product performs exactly as advertised and as I expected it to. The primary purpose of this light is to provide emergency lighting in the event of a power failure. This is easily simulated by pulling the device out of the socket. In the event of a power failure, the flood light on the front turns on. The flood light provides adequate lighting to light up a hall way so that you can find the unit.The secondary purpose of this product is to provide motion detection lighting in the hall that it is placed during the night. The unit has a good 5 feet radius around it consistently. When motion is detected, the flood light is trigged.Lastly, the flashlight feature of this product provides adequate lighting that projects further and in a more focused beam that the flood light for directional use. The flashlight feature provides enough lighting in the dark for one to get around in a building easily.I rate the performance of this product as a 5/5.OverallOverall, I am satisfied with this product. As with all products, there is room for improvement, but this product definitely fits the role that it is designed for. With adequate build quality and design, with good performance, I rate this product as a 4/5 overall.I received this product at a discounted rate for my honest review of this product. I am always looking for multi-function and/or purpose products so when I came across this 3-in-1 rechargeable torch listing, I knew I had to order it. I can never go wrong with having an automatic motion sensor light, wall light and also an emergency power fail night light in one. The light output from the bulbs is really bright, it sure does light up the area really well. The body of this nightlight is removable so in the event of a power outage, I can take it out of the housing and use it as a flashlight. Since, this light has LED bulbs the electricity draw is not much. This light was easy to use out of the box. It lit up right away even without being plugged in. I think this little rechargeable torch will come in very handy, especially for the occasional power outages that we experience where we live. I have it plugged in in the kitchen. I can pull it off the wall to use as a flashlight or leave it there to provide illumination when we need it. I would actually like to buy more of these for other rooms in the house. I can never find a flashlight when I need one, and this makes one readily available. It arrived in a box covered with oriental characters, no English at all. It is plastic, nothing fancy, but for the price, it works fine and I think it is a good value. I have attached a picture of the box, as well as a picture of the torch plugged in and illuminated. The unit can remain plugged into the wall, even when fully charged, as it stops charging. The manufacturer says that it will not overcharge, and the body material is fireproof. It can be used as a thermal infrared sense light even when there is no power outage, but the on-off button can close this function if not desired. I received this torch at a discount for my fair and unbiased review, and I have provided that based upon my observations and experience with the product.

Decent light. Puts off a nice light. The motion sensor works pretty well. The only issue is that the light is a bit bulky and hangs off the wall. I use this in a bathroom for the kids to see at night. Works well and the light comes on quick.Excellent motion sensor.Down side is the base is bulky and heavy. Hangs out of the socket a bit. Wish it was a bit tighter and smaller setup.I bought two different lights, so you can see them in the picture.
