Small Mixer
Great little mixer that does the job. I'm using it every weekend to construct a porcelain patio and it mixes well with little fuss. I've read on here that people have to bend the blades to make them fit but it wasn't the case for me. Once you work out the right angle and placement for the blades to fitted really easily. It isn't high enough to tip straight into a wheel barrow but that isn't a problem. It is a really good small mixer for DIY and smaller projects.

Mixer for the d.i.y’er
Straight away, the box it comes in will make you gasp. I didn’t give up though. Taking it out of the box it took a few hours to assemble. It was a bit awkward with the gasket and drum. The size is perfect for little concrete/ cement jobs around the garden or home. It’s actually good for mixing smaller amounts especially on your own. Mix up and use the concrete, then repeat as needed. I mixed 14 bags of ballast for concrete in a morning. You just need to scale things down. It cleans up in the usual way, and stores in a shed. It saved me mixing up by hand. One other point, I emptied each mix in to buckets.

Good wee mixer
I’ve had this for a couple of weeks to lay a foundation for a small extension. I must say it’s good value. I found it easy to assemble, just take your time. Remember you need to bend the blades slightly to make them fit. Also the bolt that is numbered 1 in the instructions is already fitted. So the bags with the screws start at number 2. Be careful not to overload it and switch it on before starting to load. I was putting in six small shovels of concrete mix to 1 of cement and it takes this ok. Two of these batches will fit in a wheelbarrow. The mixer is too low to pour into a wheelbarrow so I stood it on concrete blocks and this works fine. Overall this is a good mixer. Would recommend

Horribly noisy to start with failed after 35 days use
The media could not be loaded. The product is hard to assemble. But that’s fairly common with lots of these style of mixers. It makes a noise when running. I suspect the bearing might have not been greased properly from the manufacturer. But there are no grease nipples to be able to grease the bearing. After 35 light loads the mixer failed.Seller is refusing to repair replace or refund as the mixer has cement on it.So make sure you don’t get any dust or dirt on your mixer as otherwise the seller will say it’s not in warranty.

Quality product
The item arrived earlier than stated. Instructions were very clear and had no problems. Reviews stated that the blades needed bending but this was not the case. Used it to lay foundations for a small wall and it worked perfectly.

This Cement Mixer is for DIY use.
I stress this mixer is not for professionals but is fine for my requirements. When emptying a wheel barrow will NOT fit under the mixer drum but the yellow/black tubs used by plasters does. Partial self assembly, and the "instructions" were written by some-one who English is not their first language. The mixer went together with a nominal fight but generally was straight forward in spite of the "instructions". Unfortunately mine did not work when I first tried it out empty. Investigation revealed that a cable was disconnected at the ON/OFF switch inside the motor housing that had been missed by quality control. Would I buy another...yes.

Very poor assembly
Absolutely awful to assemble the blades - they don’t line up properly. Mixes fairly well except drive belt came off after about 2-3 hrs of work so had to dismantle the motor cover to reattach! Just about adequate for small projects as not high enough to empty mix into a wheelbarrow so you need to empty into a low bucket/basket

Reliable
Great value for small jobs like building a wall or a small concrete shed or laying a path or small slab. Only downside is the height. Can't get a wheelbarrow underneath it. I put it on a couple of blocks to raise it and used a 70ltr bucket on a flat trolley to transport the cement mix and it worked perfectly. Mixing blades are tricky to attach when assembling but other than that it's a great mixer for small jobs.
