G-MAN O-Ring Lubricant PST-841, 2 oz. Tube

PST-841 far surpassed my expectations. I had 2 hose o-rings that were dry, brittle and cracked and that caused my hose bib to leak. I used PST-841 on the replacement o-rings and have gone two years without any leaking issues. It's also the perfect size in a 2 oz. tube. Not exactly what I was expecting for a lubricant. I used it on an air valve o-ring that gets lots of use, so it remains to be seen if it causes the valve to hang up (like it does when it gets dry) or it the stickiness helps the lube stay on the o-ring, so it lasts longer than the silicon gel I have been using. The stickiness will be helpful to hold O-rings in place for some types of assemblies where the o-ring is only for making a seal and not on a moving valve. Took off 1 star because the description is not detailed enough to know if it can be used on moving parts.

I think it tastes ok :-) Great product and goes a LONG way. Cost VS. Expense.....? Nothing beats it, so, its WORTH the expense... Very thick and almost sticky, but quite slippery. Great o-ring lube!
