Greenair Urbane Essential Oil Diffuser

This was the 3rd essential oil diffuser I have owned and it was a splurge for me. I am very disappointed. I bought for my main living room/kitchen area since it's supposed to diffuse over 1000 sq ft. When I first plugged it in, there was no vapor coming out at all. Emptied it, tried again and still nothing. I called the customer service number (a company located in Ohio, although the diffuser was made in China) and they gave me some troubleshooting techniques. It's a brand new diffuser, and I don't think I should have to through a "heavy-duty clean". I did a couple of the things that they suggested and it seems to be working a bit better, but still not anywhere close to the way my cheap $25 diffuser works.It looks nice, although it's smaller than I expected. (My fault - I didn't read the dimensions.) I'm not a fan on the touch buttons for the on/off and the light. They are hidden, but also very hard to tell if it's been activated. Please don't waste your money. There are way better options out there.

Loved the look and the steady mist and the lighting. Has everything I was looking for. After 4 uses, it leaked and the bamboo base split open. Fortunately I had the unit on an absorbent towel to catch the water during the night or my nightstand would have been ruined. Could be operator error, although I used tap water, did not overfill and used 100% high quality oil. Lid on tightly. Just not sure what happened. Was sent back with ease from Amazon customer service. I went with another diffuser that has no wood just looks like wood. Fingers crossed.

Love this diffuser on all levels-beautiful to look at, efficient at diffusing, quality material. It is best for a small room!

I am new to essential oils and this was my first diffuser. We live in an old 600 sq ft house so I purchased the Urbane hoping to be able to smell it through the entire house. That has not been the case. I can only smell it in the room that I am using it in (I realize there can be many factors at play in being able to smell the oils) or when standing near it while diffusing light scents such as orange and grapefruit. This is why I gave it three stars. I can't imagine it covering 1000 sq ft. It is a very nice looking unit with the bamboo and frosted glass. The lights are also nice. I consider it a great small/single room diffuser. I had a problem with my original unit and Greenaire customer service was great. They sent out a new base at no charge. They thought that might solve the coverage issue as well but no luck.

I saw people talking about this diffuser on Facebook and saw that it was recommended by an aromatherapist that I buy from and trust completely. I honestly didn't even read the product description, I saw that it covers up to 1,000 sq ft and I was sold. After ordering there was a thread on a popular EO Facebook group about diffusers, and they were talking about this one in particular. Several people who bought it were having problems and no mist was coming out. I felt mad that I didn't research it more and was not opportunistic about its arrival. I've owned several diffusers and have had problems with them all. They all had great reviews, but they were just a hunk of plastic that worked better as a night light in my 3 year olds room than as a diffuser. When this one arrived I was nervous about the glass top (remember I didn't read the description and had no clue there was a glass top)! This diffuser looks amazing. It's very classy and is not an eye sore like the all plastic ones. The glass top is actually my favorite feature appearance wise. The mist and fragrance output is unbeatable! The first floor of our home is just over 900 sq ft and I can smell whatever EOs I'm diffusing in every single room. It's not an open floor plan at all, each room is completely separate. I can even smell it in the upstairs hallway! I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I will also say that everyone in the group who were having problems received help from the manufacturer and all have them working great now! The company that makes these (GreenAir) has wonderful customer service and will make sure you atE completely satisfied, so you really can't go wrong. I really can't say enough about it. I've only had mine for about a week, so I will update my review as time goes on.

I was very excited to purchase this diffuser. When it arrived, I read the I closed directions and set it up by filling the tank to just under the fill line and adding 5 drops of EO. I let it run on continuous mode during the night. In the morning, I found that the diffuser had leaked a large puddle of water on my cherry night stand. I called the company and they replaced the diffuser. I was happy that they replaced the original diffuser, but this time I placed the diffuser in a bowl just incase it leaked. Well, this replacement leaked too. I started to test the diffuser to see just what was happening. I found that this diffuser leaks most often when the glass top is in three out of four positions, where the square top is rotated for each test. When I finally found the position where my testing showed no leaking, I made a mark on both the diffuser and the lid (on the back of the machine) so I can always line them up this way again. I also found that this leaking especially occurs toward the end of running a continuous cycle with a FULL to the fill mark tank of water. I now fill the tank slightly below the "fill line" and ALWAYS with a bowl or plate under this diffuser. I am writing this because I learned the hard way and incurred damage to my wood night stand. Please learn from my loss. The manufacturer didn't indicate "use protection under this diffuser" and shows pictures of this diffuser without any protection. I am sure there are other diffusers on the market that do not leak. Search them out!

Didn't purchase at Amazon. After about 2 weeks the buttons stuck. I had to open it up and make the holes larger with a drill. A few months later it stopped producing any smell. The water inside has a smell but the vapor no longer does. Even efter deep cleaning
