It all fits into my rav4. Not exactly side by side as they are way too big for that. I love that they are collapsible and then take up vey little room. These were purchased to keep full large grocery bags from flying about in the cargo area. They do work well! I throw a bungee mesh over them and you’re good to go! As for sturdiness: they are quite thin but sturdy enough for what I need it for. Durability not sure yet, but once the boxes are together they seem sturdy enough especially when they full. Good and smart products!!!
