Not very impressed- I live all my other kitchen aid gadgets but this doesn’t work very well

The KitchenAid Fruit and Vegetable Spiralizer Attachment has been a game-changer in my kitchen! It’s easy to attach to my KitchenAid stand mixer, and the process of spiralizing fruits and vegetables is almost effortless. I’ve used it for everything from zucchini noodles to curly fries, and it delivers consistent results every time. The multiple blade options are fantastic for creating different styles, and cleaning the attachment is surprisingly simple. It’s also sturdy and feels like it will last a long time. If you enjoy adding creative, healthy options to your meals, this spiralizer is worth every penny. It’s made meal prep fun and efficient, and I can’t imagine going back to manual spiralizers after using this! Highly recommend for anyone with a KitchenAid mixer.

Let's face it, nobody needs a £150 spiralizer - so when I saw this on sale for less than half that I leaped at it. If you just want to TRY a spiralizer than I recommend buying a £15 plastic one to start with. However, if you have a Kitchenaid stand mixer and you know that you will use a spiralizer a lot this is the way to go. It is well thought out, easy to clean, and it comes in a decent storage box - albeit a cardboard one. With KitchenAid products, it is not a given that the design will be good. Their mixers are great, but some of the other (matching) products we have bought have fallen short in their design. This was not one of them

Works perfectly, as advertised. My only quibble that I should have done my homework about is that the vegetables to be worked on have to be 5 inches or less in length. So, you have to cut long vegetables in half. You have to make sure to firmly press the round end of the cutting blade into the center of the vegetable or fruit to be cut or spiralized in order for it to spin evenly. Certain vegetables that aren't firm enough, like red and green peppers, that are flimsy aren't that successful at being cut I've found. Otherwise have had great success with a number of vegetables. The peeler doesn't work great on uneven vegetables. It works much better on very even fruits and even shaped vegetables however. It makes quick work of peeling quite a few apples quickly, then replacing the peeler with the cutter blade to make long circles of apples for pie or crisps. Am very glad I bought it. The zucchini "zoodles" are a great way to get the kids to eat more veggies in a fun way.

Comprei este produto com a finalidade de espiralizar legumes e fiquei decepcionada porque a maioria dos legumes não tem as dimensões adequadas à máquina; ou seja: a lâmina do acessório está posicionada de uma maneira que não é compatível com a maior parte dos legumes. Espiralizar courgette é seguro e fácil mas as cenouras são um desafio. O acessório para descascar é igualmente imprevisível uma vez que as maçãs, por exemplo, também não são descascadas convenientemente por não terem a dimensão necessária para que a lâmina funcione bem. As batatas também não são bem descascadas e muitas vezes só recebem alguns raspões da lâmina. Em conclusão: o preço é demasiado elevado para o uso que se consegue dar ao produto.
