I wasn't pleased with the option they gave us at the doctor's ...
Our pediatrician told us that our newborn would need a vitamin D supplement as an exclusively breastfed baby. I wasn't pleased with the option they gave us at the doctor's office, and this was the only organic, semi-healthy looking option I could find in a pinch. I have a couple of complaints. While it is nice that you can give your baby ALL of their recommended vitamin D in one drop...Seriously? One drop? It is nearly impossible to get one drop in the mouth of an infant, and it takes FOREVER to come out of the little hole in the top, so by the time the drop is ready to come out, you have most likely lost your opportunity to get it in their mouth. Putting it on a spoon or something doesn't really help either - it is only one drop, after all. My other complaint is the flavor - I don't think it needs it. It is too strong and the baby can smell it coming and gear themselves up to avoid it. A flavorless, odorless version would be preferable. However, we do appreciate having a natural, organic vitamin D supplement to turn to, so we will keep using this.

Wish the dropper would be better
I really wish I could give this product a better review:1) it is impossible to get exact one drop out. Why does it have to be so hard?2) my 3 month old, who is generally happy, cried right after I gave him the vitamin. He never cried when I gave him vitamin d from other brand3) it is great that it is organic but due to poor usability of the dropper this product is useless

Organic, Super SLOW to use, tastes berries.
Our pediatrician recommended it for our newborn baby so we tried. It is organic, safe for newborn babies, just a single drop is enough for under 12 months babies. But the drop comes down SUPER SLOW. Seriously it takes more than 10 secs to get the drop down. My baby can't wait for the drop, he moves his mouth a lot so I can't aim it easily. And I don't know why this vitamin D should taste of berries when it's for newborn babies. My baby so hates the taste. Newborn babies shouldn't taste of anything except milk before 4 months I think. Please get rid of the berry taste (or scent), make it taste nothing like it should be!

Best vitamin D product with no unhealthy additives
Yes, these drops can be a little challenging to get out and into your child's mouth sometimes, especially when it gets towards the end of the bottle, but it's really not that big of a deal. The biggest pro, that outweighs this is that there are no unhealthy additives, or other vitamins in it that baby doesn't need. It's great quality, the ease of use is just a bit challenging. We've been giving this to our baby for most of her short life and it's become a game as part of her bedtime routine. We ask her, "Do you want your drink?" and she gets all excited and opens up! And in the drop goes!

Normal for bottle to be partially filled
Although the safety cap and seal were unopened, I also noticed the liquid was not filled to the top. I contacted the manufacturer and they stated it is normal for the bottle to be 2/3 full. They should note that on the package.. It is also difficult to get the drops out as other reviewers mentioned. I believe it's a high quality organic supplement but there are some improvements to be made.
