Great Razor.
Razor is light, handles well, handsome and shaved generally better than my high end disposable (say Gillette Quattro) and blades are significantly cheaper (cents VS dollars per blade). Unfortunately, if you have facial hair or longer side burns, be aware that there is 1-2 mm gap between the side of the razor head and the blade so it makes precision work around your beard a bit of a learning curve. My girlfriend also used the razor (unbeknownst to me until after the fact) to shave her ‘bikini area’ and said it was a way better and easier shave than her lady Shick and left her ‘baby bottom smooth’. The last part was true.

A really good razor
When I first started shaving, not to gave away my age, these safety razors were the most common type in use and the kind I learnt to shave on. Quite a bit of nostalgia for me there. But I've always been fond of this kind of razor. I find they shave so well and closely. And this one is really quite beautiful. The first thing my bf said when I showed him was how beautiful it was.It does has a nice feel/weight to it. And it's so easy to open and to change the blades. It does in fact shave beautifully. Actually I am noticing that this razor does in fact very much shave closer than anything else I've used in ages. There's definitely less. regrowth each morning. Which I would have to say is also thanks to the quality of the Baili blade that came with the razor. And 3 more bonuses: better for the environment (less waste to dispose of), the blades are much less expensive than other types, and no moisturizing strips which I personally don't at all care for as I try to avoid adding chemicals to my skin.Very happy I bought this. (Got the stand separately from amazon)

Seems to work well
I’m new to using this type of razor, so what do I know? I’ve just now used it for the first time. I didn’t slice my legs, bikini, or armpits open. The shave is nice and smooth. I’ll experiment with qualities of blades for a while. I would have preferred a slightly longer handle, but it seems to work well anyway

solid shaver
This is the 3rd DE shaver I've had in 5 years. This is easily the best and most forgiving if, like me, you don't shave every day. I've been using this for months now and it's really great. Doesn't nick or jump at all. It is not the closest shave. That's the only downside. Sometimes I have to make a few passes to get all the stubble. That could just be my facial hair though.Previous DEs had a screw in head that captured the blade, but over time, they got calcified or the threads simply wore out from repeated opens and closes from replacing blades. This one twists to access the blade, a much better design.Free case is nice for storage, but would be hard to actually shave with the mirror. Free blade is useful to get started, but if you're new to DE shaving, I'd recommend getting a mixed pack from here to see which brand and style of blade works best for your face.

A $50 razor.
Companies often contact Baili to have this little beauty customized with their logo, then resell it at $50 or more. I see them almost everywhere. This is a decent little razor - good for beginners. If TTO (butterfly open) is a must for you, consider this your #1 razor. If TTO isn't critical to you, I - like so many others - recommend the Merkur 34C. But get this one too - it's slightly less aggressive that the Merkur and that can be helpful in some circumstances.
