WTB TCS Rim Tape, 50mm x 11m, Model:W095-0043

I tried this WTB tape on a WTB Scrapper rim, carefully de-greased and cleaned. The tape was too stiff to conform to the "valley" in the center of the rim and I couldn't get it to stick there. Adhesion on the actual nearly cylindrical portion of the rim was also spotty. Haven't tossed it yet, but I will. Went back to my old standby: two layers of a 3-M filament packaging tape with the filament layers running both longitudinally and transversely. Added Stans, inflated and went riding. The Scrapper Rims are great. The WTB rim sealing tape though sucks. Pat

Clean and dry WTB rims were not good enough for this tape. It was the right width for my WTB brand rims. "Tape" moved all over the place during installation of the first bead of the tire! Gave up and took the rims/tires to my LBS. Save your money and do not buy this product.

WTB recommends 5mm wider tape than your rim's inner diameter. I went with the 50mm tape. This stuff DID NOT stick and kept tearing length wise. I'll be returning this!
