So So
Disappointed somewhat in story lines. Suspend belief and you might enjoy the book.

a bit overbearing
KU'd this and returned it before I finished the first book. The first several chapters are simply the first few letters being exchanged. These letters between STRANGERS quickly turn into, "My buddy's wife is leaving him when he gets back - Oh, no! No GOOD woman would ever do that (without any reference to what other problems their marriage might have). Women are supposed to support their husbands and always be.." blah blah blah, lots almost-preaching about the benefit of unequal power dynamics in the home. When they actually started discussing their HEA he was all, "You're going to quit your job and let me pay for our house by signing up for the Reserves even though I just left the military and will probably go out again," and on and on with controlling behavior that bordered on disturbing. There were also some really weird phrases that made it seem like the author might actually have used a translator. Instead of brownie mix, for instance, I think it was brownie blend. I've never heard that before in any part of the south.

What a great set
I received this set for an honest review. One letter:I received this for a honest review. I just love Christin Lovell’s books. She always does such an amazing job. You will find that the women in her books are these confident beautiful woman with sexy curves. The characters always show that you should be happy with who you are and not worry what others think. It started with some simple letters and some care package. As the letters went on Kelly and Daniel found that they were following for each other. They poured their heart and soul into their letters. Let each other know how their day was, struggles, wants, and desires.Kelly was worried about what Daniel would think once he saw her. She felt like it would be over as soon as he saw her. When Daniel had let her know that he that his time was up and he was coming to see her well that made her heart drop. She was not ready for things to end.Daniel had one goal and that was to claim the woman that he fell in love with. Her letters meant so much and got him through his time. He was hard headed and was not going to leave without giving it his best shot to make her his. Will Daniel be truly expecting of Kelly once he sees her? Can Kelly take the leap of faith and give Daniel a chance. This was a great book and I am sure you will enjoy this story as much as I did.One Email:It started with one email. I found it funny that Madelyn thought she was emailing a woman soldier. I could only imagine the smirk that Taylor got from time to time when he thought about Madelyn thinking he was a woman. He did try to hint from time to time.Madelyn was only looking from friendship and to give a soldier something to look forward two. She never dreamed that she would find love through emails. Taylor fell in love with how Madelyn poured her heart and soul into each and every email. It just caused him to love her even more. The first meet between these two was special. Taylor looked forward to meeting this curvy woman he fell in love with through her words. Of course this left plenty of room for his brothers to tease. This story has been the most special to me so far. Since I live in Kentucky and I met the man that I have been with for 13 years through email. It is a story how one can fall in love with someone’s inward beauty before seeing how beautiful they are on the outside. FIY, there is no way I would of agreed to no book boyfriends..LOLOne Christmas:Jane Dubreaux was a mother of one. She was curvy and very beautiful. Her daughter was going away to college and she did not know how to handle being without her daughter. She had started writing a letter to a soldier she never met. It was supposed to be friendship and support. What she never dreamed was love. There was a huge age difference between Sergeant Brad Wilcox and Jane Dubreaux. She was defiantly the cougar in this relationship. Jane had a hard time getting past the age and the fact that the man she divorced had cheated on her. She felt that one day Brad would regret being with an older woman.Brad knew one thing, he wanted Jane, well that and he was going to make her his. He was not sure how but he was going to win her heart. All he knew was to be patient and hope she would come around. This was a sweet story of how just simple letters turned into so much more. No matter how much Brad flirted with Jane in the letters she would not flirt back. He knew the only way to win her was to show up in person. WOW, was a surprise that must have been to see such a sexy man on your door step. Yum…

Nice short stories.
All four books are nice short stories. They could be the start of full length books. I would have loved to see more of each couples after they get together.

Lacking
I loved the letters but they lacked context. These stories would've been soooo much better if she didn't have the letters stand alone. Not to mention as a counselor, the glaring mistake of saying the character could a counselor with a bachelor's degree bothered me immensely.

Worth Every Penny!!!
One Letter-I loved seeing Kellie and Daniel's romance bloom of the course of the letters. Their relationship was nurtured from the start and made them easy to like. They poured their hearts and souls into each letter and then it steadily progressed unbreakable bond. This one was probably my favorite out of all of them. One E-mail-This one didn't stick to me the same way the first one did. It was still cute to read about Maddie and Taylor's interactions but it did puzzle me that Maddie assumed that Taylor was a woman just based of his name alone. I also wished that we had gotten more of glance inside Taylor's head but all and all it was a good story. One Christmas-This one defiantly wasn't my cup of tea. I've never been a fan of cougar- younger man relationships so I didn't enjoy Jane and Brad's story as much as I enjoyed the others. this is my least favorite out of all four stories. One Note-I love how resilient Mason was even after being turned down by "H" AKA Lauren and that even after being injured and beginning the recover process where he finally meets Lauren he still found reason to actually recover and kept hope.Even though one of the stories wasn't something I particularly enjoy, the other three made up for it and this set is worth the money. The stories made you look a soldiers in a different light and also reminded us that despite their chosen profession they are still everyday people like us looking for love and of the sacrifices they make to protect us.~I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review~

Good writing but....
I wish there was better endings to the stories. They seemed rushed towards the end but good writing and story telling

Ahhhh... Okay
Great stories, great idea, enjoyed reading them for the most part, however.....the author's tendency to veer of into lengthy statements about love, commitment, fidelity, honour, spoiled the flow. Otherwise this could have been a 4 or even 5 star review.
