FRONTIER Cinnamon Pwdr Korintje, 1 LB

I'm not familiar with the different types of cinnamon, but I can say that this is much different than the store bought kind you'd often buy. The flavor is stronger yet it does not have as much 'bite', much mellower but this allows you to enjoy the cinnamon much more. So much so you can put a whole spoonful in your mouth and can swallow it easily.

On my quest for the perfect cinnamon roll. I found that there are different types of cinnamon. Who knew!!? Not me!This is the one you want if you are also trying to perfect the cinnamon roll. Amazing, rich, deep flavor. Added so much more flavor depth to them. I cant wait to try this in my pumpkin rolls next!Only downfall is the packaging. Its in a bag so that makes it hard to reseal to keep fresh. I will need to invest in a new spice jar for this great find.

Do NOT think for a second that all cinnamon is the same. Korintje cinnamon is my favorite and I have tried many kinds. When I bought my bakery the previous owner had two things to say about the products in general. First was to continue buying the coffee from the guys he bought from (excellent decision) and he went on and on about ALWAYS buy Korintje cinnamon, never substitute. He was right. I tried many cinnamons for taste to prove him wrong, but I couldn't. This brand of Korintje cinnamon is just as good as the brand I was buying from a wholesaler in the bakery. I have made many things with it at home now that I don't have the bakery. It has lived up to its name perfectly. Thank you.

I put it in my coffee and it smells and tastes delicious! Due to Covid, I couldn't get my regular brand of cinnamon at the grocery store. We all have discovered similar shortages. This year, we all have experienced the need to experiment with different products and manufacturers or do without. I originally purchased this brand at Target, but they didn't have it again after trying to find it there on several occasions. Typically, I had purchased cinnamon in small quantity shaker jars. I did some research and found this mother load at a much lower price. I'm very pleased to have found this product.
