Direct fit for splendide DV6400X
bought just the thermostats from splendide before 67 dollars this whole unit with thermostats was 35 dollars waiting on belts to install no sense in taking machine apart twice.

220v Dryer Element not for Splendide
This a 220v 2300watt element. If you are working on a 120v Splendide dryer, this element will not work. It is the exact same size, just incorrect voltage for an American RV dryer.

Not UNIVERSAL
This is NOT a UNIVERSAL item. I purchased it for my Hot Point dryer and it is not at all what I needed. So, the term UNIVERSAL should not be used. The model numbers it fits should be listed somewhere in the description or specifications.

Take old Element out of your dryer
It was exactly like my old one, I looked at the heating elements on Amazon and it was the same thing. Rv dealer said they Couldn’t get one!

Dryer heating element
Fit was perfect. Wiring plug is slightly different from original but does plug together. Used a zip tie to lock it together.Not totally happy with its performance. Does not seem to put out the heat that the original element did.

This product not only arrived 6 days early .. yes 6 days early , but it was a exact fit , when I say exact I mean right down to the zip tie push lock to hold the wires inside cover ... I could not of asked for better ..This product fit my : Splendide Ariston AS66VX dryerA+ to the sellerThank you
