First the size is the size. "Not the size in the picture" PLEASE, GOOD GRIEF!I use them to cinch up the neck in some overly large t shirts at the neck. I wouldn't do that with some cheap safety pins I use these and they have never failed me. These are extremely stout high quality pins.

VERY small. These are literally an inch - and I thought that would be okay; however, they are not sturdy. The photo makes them appear sturdier than they really are.

I was looking for a set of heavy duty, 1 inch safety pins to use on clothing that is too big in the waist area. These are perfect and exactly what I was looking for!

Item shipped is at least three times smaller, than the item pictured. I’ll find some use for these pins, but I still need a much bigger pin (like the one pictured), for a Xmas project. FYI I’m a retired professional photographer, if that adds any weight to this review.

Not good for what I wanted to do....pin a cover on my couch.....did not stay closed when sitting on the seat cushions...could've pricked my butt...

Finally found a strong pin that hold up very well!

Bought these for decorative pinning on an expensive Dr Martens brand slouch bag that had gun-metal-black hardware. These worked great.
