Love this! Great for oily skin. It cleans and removes oils and debris without drying out my skin. Plus it is so soft! The clay in it is very fine so it doesn’t feel abrasive at all. I buy this product recurrently. I will go back to buying straight from Ethique’s website though. Amazon ships it in a plastic mailer, which completely spits on the point of Ethique’s sustainable business model. I love that Ethique is a B corp. good stuff down the line. Make sure you have a soap stand to set it on! These used to come in 4 smalller pieces but have since switched to 2 larger pieces. No big issue since you are left with less soap scraps. But it makes having a soap stand more important! It will be used up very quickly if you leave it in water. Let it dry between uses with a soap stand or soap bag. It lasts me a long time like this. (Really you should do that with all of your bar soaps, never let them stand in water or you will find that they disappear quickly)

I have been using Ethique facial cleanser for several years. I used to get ‘In Your Face” which was great but no longer available. I now use this “Deep Green.” I like that there are no plastics used in the packaging of this facial cleanser so no plastic waste or forever chemicals. It does a nice job of cleansing too. My face is sensitive, and I have no problems with this cleanser. Unlike prior solid cleansing bars I’ve used in the past, this one suds up nicely. Since I travel frequently, this bar is great as it’s one less thing in my liquids 3-1-1 bag when I go through TSA. *This review was made in good faith based on my personal experience with the product. This is a very gentle but cleansing soap for my face

I swear by this for my face. Anytime I sue something different I break out but this product works well with my skin. I’ve used it for many years and each pack has lasted me many months

I love this company! I use all of their products! This one is my absolute favorite! It's scent is pleasant but not overwhelming and it's so butter soft! My skin looks amazing and is left feeling clean and moisturized!

I was very excited about this products ethical manufacturing/packaging, but wasn't pleased with its effectiveness. since I'm trying not to waste, I have continued using it and have some tips to make it work best. This is not a good product to use just as cleanser, it is simply not strong enough to get off tough makeup, dirt, and grease of the day. however, I do think it makes a nice post-cleanse mask. after washing my face with something else, I lather up this bar and rub it on my face, letting it sit for about 10 minutes, then rinse. this kind of soothes the skin and picks up the last traces of grease. the bars are very small, which lots of people have already mentioned, but altogether make about 1 medium size bar of soap, so the price isn't too high for the product. However, next time I'll be buying something more all encompassing in my facial cleanser.

I have sensitive, combination skin on the high ends of the spectrum (extremely oily with very dry patches) and the only face wash that worked for me was Cetaphil’s gentle cleanser. This “zero-waste” alternative was an absolute game changer. My skin feels soft and clean after one wash without leaving my face dry and tight feeling like other washes. And, as an added (surprising) bonus, it is also much better at removing makeup than any other face cleanser I’ve used. I don’t use waterproof makeup so I don’t know if it works well for that, but I am so impressed by this face wash. I’ve used it six times already (3 days, morning and night) and I haven’t even put a dent in the bar. You barely need any lather to wash the whole face, and it feels so silky smooth and smells delicious. Even if I hadn’t known about the added bonus of being vegan, cruelty-free, B-certified and ethically-sourced etc, I probably would have fallen in love with this anyways.

Love the smell and works great. I like that it comes as a two pack. I ordered this Feb. 3, 2025, and today Sept. 5, 2025, I just finished using 1 bar. This this is great!

Gentle, effective, lightly fragranced cleansing bar. It foams just a little and leaves skin feeling fresh and comfortable.

Very good product, good lather and cleanses well.
