Tiffany Style Stained Glass Floor Lamp"Granduer" w/ 20" Shade

This is an excellent floor lamp.It arrived with amazing speed, just two days after I ordered it at standard shipping price, and I was a little worried when I saw some tears and crushed areas of the shipping carton. Let me tell you there is no reason to worry. The lamp is packed meticulously inside a solid styrofoam cube and the underside of the shade is supported by a styrofoam insert that matches the shape and size of the shade. You could drop this off the back of a truck and it would be fine.Assembly is easy. The lamp cord is pre-threaded through the sections of the pole and you simply screw them together, base first. The light sockets are all pre-wired and the socket assembly is attached easily and finally the shade is placed on top and secured with an attractive finial. The base is substantially weighted and the lamp is stable.One thing that I found is that if I screwed that finial down hard to keep the shade from moving it seemed to make the shade sit a tiny bit off of level. Most people wouldn't even notice, but if you don't make it so tight then the shade sits as it should. There is no need for the finial to be cranked down hard, the shade isn't going anywhere. The shade is lighter than I expected, at least a little, because I had a similar size stained glass lamp years ago and it was very heavy.I installed three CREE soft white LED bulbs and turned them on and the colors popped to life. It looks very much like the photo and it's a soothing mixture of brown and cream with small colorful accents. Really nice. The height is just right to read by and the shade is nicely proportioned and deep so that you don't see the bulbs unless you look under the shade. I placed the lamp between two dark brown leather armchairs and on a colorful Persian rug and it makes a very nice scene.I like this lamp very much and I recommend it.

I dearly love this lamp, but after 11 months the shade fell apart and this vender would not stand behind the product. I ordered a replacement shade for an additional $120.00 because I also have a table lamp. I have 9 other stained glass lamps and none have had the lead fall apart.

Love this lamp! I was leary to order it online, but it is very sturdy and a beautiful lamp. It was packed with care, and very quick and easy to assemble. Like the others have said, it is great to have the 3 bulbs, where you can have one, two or all 3 lit.

This is a detailed review of China built vs American built Tiffany style lamps. They both half good and bad qualities . I have side by side photos comparison of Quoizel (USA) and Aspen Tiffany(China) lamps. The Aspen Tiffany lamp I purchased from Amazon is on the Right side of all 4 photos Quoizel on the Left. Shade's are both beautiful in clarity ,color, and craftsmanship , and are both colored glass pieces held in place with lead solder. Both lamps have 3 , 60 watt,led bulbs in them in pics. Stands and poles. Quoizel solid bronze base with marble accents and one piece hollow bronze pole. Aspen Tiffany base is resin base with a weighted plate in bottom of base, pole is 3 light metal pieces. Light socket assembly on Quoizel is bronze not plastic which Aspen Tiffany is. Weight of Quoizel is 25.2 pounds, Aspen Tiffany 17.1 pounds. Here is the big difference Quoizel is a $500 floor lamp while Aspen Tiffany is $200. So depending on your budget and how picky you may be will hopefully give you a better idea of buying a USA built (quality) vs China (cheaper) built Tiffany style lamps. They both are beautiful Tiffany style lamps, but as you look closer at the details you really can see the difference's in quality. Would have given 4 stars to the Aspen Tiffany lamp if it had a metal base vs resin base. But will keep because most of my house guest see the colorful shade first vs pay attention to the pole and base. And lamp will be behind chair which will hide the base. So I hope this helps in your purchasing decision on USA vs China Tiffany style lamps.

Love everything about my lamp. The shade is as beautiful as the picture showed. Love that the lamp has 3 bulbs and separate chain pulls for each to control how much light I wanted. I just wish the bulbs would set further up into the shade so it would not glare in my eyes.

I have wanted a Tiffany lamp for a long time and finally bought this after looking at two others. The colors are great as well as the height. Bright with one light! Although, two is best while reading. (or all three) The final on top is a perfect cap to a great lamp. Easy to put together, five minutes. Base is heavy so no worries about the lamp falling over. I look forward to a lifetime of enjoying this lamp! Yes, i recommend this Tiffany lamp!!

Ok so this was a Xmas gift for my mother and it is nicely built and pretty but someone in r&d decided something this fragile doesn't need any weight at the base. I tried fitting lamp weight bases onto this lamp but none would fit so I ended up opening the bottom and packing it full of electrical clay the kind that's easy to mold but will mold harder once it sits, that gave it a decent amount of weight so I don't have to worry about it falling over. Maybe that's the mfg plan is for it to break and fall over easily dunno. But I can say it was packaged very well at least.
