EGGaxctly What I Wanted!
This is a great toy for learning shapes, colors and dexterity. Younger children need it modeled several times over time to get the hang of it, or they will give up. You can make up games up to play with these eggs, once they've learned them, to give them a fresh new approach. You can hide the egg halves, and the child can collect them all to assemble a full set. For older children (4-6) kids can work with a partner or as a small team to find all the halves and assemble them in a race against another team. They are sturdy and easy to clean & sanitize. I bought a set for a friend as a gift and for our church nursery.

The 3 and 4 year olds love playing with these at their centers. They can learn colors, small motor skills, and shapes.

Perfect for Easter baskets.
My Grandson is 2 1/2, and has a hard time opening them. I’m sure as time goes on it will get easier. I would rather have them too hard to open then fall apart easily.

Definitely Skoolzy brand, not at all hard to pull apart
I didn’t read any reviews on these until after I ordered them to include in my 2yo’s Easter basket, and I started getting a little uncertain about the legitimacy. LOTS of previous reviews mentioned that the eggs were hard to pull apart, difficult even for an adult; not sure if maybe the company corrected the issue due to critical reviews, but the egg set I received yesterday is not at all hard to pull apart. In fact, they’re so easy to put together and take apart that I was a little concerned they wouldn’t stay together, but so far so good (granted, I’ve tested them out once for a total of maybe 5-10 minutes, so it’s not impossible that they could maybe loosen over time and not stay together). There were also a few reviews that said the eggs they received weren’t actually Skoolzy brand (including photos for proof), but again, the set I received is definitely genuine Skoolzy brand—they came in a little plastic bag that contained the eggs and the orange pull pouch, all with the Skoolzy branding. All that said, I’m pleasantly surprised with these! I think they’ll make the perfect addition to the Easter basket—a fun, engaging activity disguised by a simple, neutral aesthetic (in general, I’m not big on loud primary colors, so). Definitely recommend!
