I bought the 18000 but 18 seer model I ordered it January 4 received it 4 days later from Florida to Iowa in 4 days excellent I installed it the next day fairly easily I do have my hvac license and have installed a few other brands of mini split the ones I have done all Installed the same way as for the function of it so far the coldest outside air has been 18 degrees farenhite and it heated perfectly I have a 1200 SQ ft house kept it very warm. So an update on my mini split heat pump i have been using it now for 2 weeks working perfectly we have had 4 or 5 days now in the single digits outside inside 70 degrees whole house well an update so my heat pump has gradually been working worse and worse until it finally kept cycling on and off had it checked out today there is a hole in the evaporator coil hopefully they will honor there warranty without a fight I will update on how it went

Companies may attempt to reject customers from filing claims if they forget to register their item, however this is actually not permitted, and it's a company's obligation to honor your warranty even if you don't register.Apr 3, 2023 I have a open sensor in one of my units and they refuse to honor the warrenty,because they tell me I didnt register within 90 days.I love the units ip untill then . Ended up bying 3 compeditor units because of that.

This is NOT a DIY install. There are a million reason why and if you do try you will most likely damage the copper lines. There are special tools needed to bend and cut those. It cost us $900 to have the install done and the freon charged. professionals took about 4/5 hours to get it all installed and charged and running. Once its in it is fantastic!

I had this brand and paid licensed A/C TECH do the Vacuum on line set. These and most All other brands come PRE CHARGED. For up to 16 foot line. I paid 275 dollars. All they needed to do was Torque the line connections, Vacuum line and RELEASE REFRIGERANT and connect communication/power wires. Mine came with a wall plug on inside air handler. If a company tells you they needed Refrigerant to Charge these AC units they are being DISHONEST ! Unless you use over 16 give or take feet line set ! Someone mentioned they had to charge their new mini split, I hope they used well over 16 ft. Line. This Brand lasted us over 8 years heating in winter and Cooling all other months, in Florida it is Mainly Cooling 10 + months a year ! This mini split would have lasted longer but I had a electric wiring problem coming from breaker box making me think it was air conditioner. So I replaced it. (220/240v) then found one BROKEN WIRE inside wall receptacle !
