Flower Fairies Paper Dolls

More beautiful and better quality than expected. My almost 8 year old loved these. The dolls are absolutely precious and the clothing is pre-perforated double sided thick glossy paper/card. My daughter was able to press out the dolls and clothing by herself without tearing them. The dolls are not cutesy cartoons and the clothing is not pink and frilly. They are beautiful, not schmatlzy, so they still appeal to tweens who have outgrown the fairy stage. The clothing is natural art - petal skirts, leaf bodices and moth wings. There are accessories for the dolls - flower gardlands that fit properley on their heads and buttercup handbags you can slip over an upraised wrist. Best of all, there is a sturdy card envelope glued into the inside rear cover to hold all the precious bits and pieces safely. I love designers who provide appropriate storage for their collection! These dolls are sturdy enough to play with and beautiful enough to display on a shelf. Simply perfect. You can't go wrong with these.

Pretty colors, cute

I picked these up for some quality one on one time with my almost 7 yr old granddaughter, they were perfect for my fairy loving girl. The illustrations were excellent along with some short text about the fairies making special clothing for the Fairy Flower Ball. Be sure to look through and read the story before removing the dolls and clothes. The dolls and stands are made of a fairly heavy card stock, printed on both sides. The clothes and flower accessories are also printed on both sides of the paper, they fit over the dolls heads sandwich board style. This requires a gentle hand in dressing them so care is taken not to stress the paper dolls necks. I thought having two outfits each was perfect for this set. There is an envelope on the last page to store everything, I found it a little small so I added another for just the dolls. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone with a girl or boy who likes paper dolls or fairies.

My four year old daughter was swept away by these stunning, punch out fairy paper dolls. They are literally the most beautiful art I've ever seen; if I were reading it in a book I would be amazed. There are two girl fairies and two boy fairies and there are party outfits designed from butterflies, pinecones, moths...purses from beautiful flowers and headresses. The goal is to set them up for a fairy ball. They are laminated type material, so much more sturdy than other Disney princess paper dolls that were severaly disappointing in their quality; like arms and heads tearing off just trying to get them dressed. We've tried two other kinds of paper dolls and these do not compare. These fairy dolls actually stand up and on the back cover page is a heavy storage envelope to store every item in the book perfectly. Could NOT recommend these more.

These Flower Fairies Paper Dolls Set reminds me of the paper dolls I played with my grandmother. My grand daughter has a collection of the Flower Fairies books, and these paper dolls helps to bring the Flower Fairies to life. They are made well so I expect them to last until she gets tired of playing with them.

These were for my 6 yr old granddaughter. She has a little problem getting the fairies and clothing punched out, but of course Granny helped. Might be easier for an older child. The set includes a boy fairy and that is nice. The clothes hang over the paper doll, folded at the neckline. No cons here. I do recommend this set.

Have always loved Cecily Mary Barker's Flower Fairies. If you don't have the books, please consider buying them. The poems are delighful and the illustrations are lovely.....I read them to my granddaughter when she was five years old and she loved them. Just happened to see this book of paper dolls and had to get it. There are four paper doll fairies, eight costumes and accessories; also an envelope attached to back cover in which to store everything. The colors are beautiful, the paper stock is a nice, heavy weight.....I will be saving this until my great-granddaughter is ready to play with paper dolls. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed playing with paper dolls in their youth and would like to pass on a fun pastime to their own children or grandchildren.

My six-year-old daughter and I love the Flower Fairies series of activity books, and this one features 4 lovely fairy dolls (two girls and two boys) and 8 beautiful fairy costumes. They are easy to remove and are made of slightly heavier card-stock so that they can hold up to repeated play, though I'd only advise these for children ages five and up (if younger, parental supervision is highly recommended to prevent tearing/chewing). The dolls and costumes are in gorgeous nature-inspired colors, reflecting the wonders of the seasons. I wish they had also included a pop-up fairy house or something that the fairies could flit around...as it is my daughter played with these dolls around her Disney fairy playsets, which worked out great.

So beautiful and cute paper dolls. Truely an adorable product.

Beautiful books highly recommend

6才の娘の為に購入したのですが、本を開いたとたんに親である私の方が目がキラキラに輝いてしまった!! しっかりした厚手の紙に、まず女の子と男の子の妖精が２人ずつ。なんと裏も印刷されているんですよ。 本から抜き取ると、各妖精が自分で立てる仕組みになっています｡（手を離しても大丈夫なんです） コスチュームは８枚、少し渋めの衣装が多いですが、それでもとっても素敵です。 この衣装も半分に折って、頭からかぶせるとやはり裏も表もあって、背中にはもちろん羽が生えています。 バッグなどの小物も可愛くて、本当に妖精が本から抜け出て来たみたいです。 昔のチープな感じの着せ替え人形を想像していると、良い意味で裏切られますよ♪

Sinceramente credevo che ci fossero piu' fate e più vestiti. E anche la qualità dei disegni non è ottima. Non completamente soddisfatta.

This book of press out fairies is absolutely beautiful, and my four year old granddaughter really loves dressing them in their different costumes. However I did the pressing out for her but she is able to add the clothes of her choice, insisting that the boy fairies have dresses on - interesting! It's wonderful to be able to share my childhood memories of the books and to pass this on to the younger generation
