IntexRecreation Supreme Air-Flow Bed Queen

Sleeps well. Difficult to fold for storage
It is easy to inflate and deflate, but it is not, what I would consider portable. It slept well. Folding it and trying to put it away is difficult; bulky and heavy. It took 2 people and multiple attempts. I was looking for portability so I opted to return it. Return was easy. I was unable to get it in the box. I was still able to return it.

Perfect Air Mattress! Use as our Permanent Nightly Mattress & we LOVE IT!! <3
This is the best air mattress we've ever bought! For some reason, it's not as good as our older one which we just lost after about 5-7 years of sleeping on it every single night; but it makes us happy and it's better than all of the other double-high air mattresses for support and comfort (once we added our 3" foam topper on it!! I'm very picky about what I sleep on. We were never comfortable with regular mattresses and before I bought the Queen Supreme Air-Flow Bed, we had a $2100 Tempurpedic mattress which was nice for about 6 months and even though we turned it twice within that time, it was sinking in the middle and we always ended up sliding into the center of the bed with an unrestful night's sleep. So, when we Gave Away the extremely expensive Tempurpedic, I bought one of these Intex double-high air mattresses that looked like a regular box spring and mattress for close to $200 because I read great reviews about house guests sleeping on it for long, extended stays and how nicely it fit regular fitted sheet sets. We slept on that air mattress for a bit while we were trying to figure out what to do about a permanent mattress. Well, it turned out that we got some of the best restful nights we've had in a very long time on that Intex air mattress and we did for many years because we never did get another mattress! Also, even though it is made out of plastic, it did not have a bad smell like some new plastic items do. The new mattress needs to adjust a bit and allow for the material to stretch for a couple of days by adding a little more air when it settles after use. Then, it all was good. The only time we had to add air was when there were significant air changes either temperature, humidity or pressure, which is fine with us. After using it every single night for about 5-7 years, it finally was losing too much air to keep filling it up to make it through the night, we decided to buy the exact same mattress again! We bought it from Windy City SuperStore on Amazon, and when it came, I immediately filled it up and we slept on it That Night! Unfortunately, the new one wouldn't hold air for a solid night for about a week-week and a half, so I contacted the place we bought it from. They said to contact Intex because they do the warranty replacements. Intex's customer service told me that I needed to cut up the mattress and only send them back a portion of it for the warranty replacement and that it would take up to 10 days to receive it, then fulfill the replacement order and then up to an additional 10 days to get the replacement back to us. I told them we are using it as our sole sleeping mattress and that I cannot go that long without a bed. The Intex rep told me to contact the company I purchased it from to see if they could help, so I did. After emailing Windy City SuperStore, who I purchased the bed from, they didn't understand the practices or advice from Intex, but they said they would immediately ship me a replacement mattress and THEY DID!! I got it just a few days later and this one works GREAT and holds the air PERFECTLY! I was so happy, I gave Windy City SuperStore a Wonderful 5-star rating and I recommended them as an amazon store owner that stands behind their products!! YAY! I'm getting great rest again, sleeping on this Wonderful Mattress!

Busted and Disgusted.. The Slow Death of My Dreams
Okay. This was a second attempt at purchase, since the first one I ordered arrived and immediately went into structural failure on August 4th. This one (replacement requested on August 6) lasted a whole month before somehow "giving out" and starting to marshmallow at 3-4 hour intervals of filling. Not good. I have sworn by this brand since 2011, only having to replace them after 12-16 months, well-used. By that I mean, as an actual bedding option for my apartment. This time around, my original seller was out of them (also thru Amazon), so I bought from this venue (Amazon), directly. 2 things I noticed, right off the bat: 1.) My usually tight fitting queen-sized fitted sheets were extra loose, prompting me to have to fix it, daily; 2.) an occasional noise that sounded like rubber flatulence (the low-pitch abrupt kind) which I attributed to the mattress "settling." Bear in mind that I have always placed them on a rubber floor covering (puzzle mats) to guarantee a visibly safe surface free of sharp surprise objects, as well as top layer of a quilt and a sleeping bag to protect the sleeping surface.Guess what? At ONE DAY PAST the return date limitation, this replacement starts doing what the first one did. I can assure you that I have no piercings and my elbows, knees and chin have not developed any sharp edges, and I have not been able to determine any outward trauma to the mattress(-es), even after giving it the once-over, twice.I guess I lost my sleep and my money. I guess I am going to find another vendor for this product, because I think they just may have a defective batch. To their credit, they did replace the first one, quickly and without issue.

This is a great Airbed
And I have purchased multiple of this style. This one, however, the first time I used is 2 months after purchase, and straight out of the box..It deflated on my guest by the morning. Using soap and water to find a hole (as I have done successfully many times before) no hole was found. All I can assume is the valve for the pump leaks.and it is way out of warranty. Reminder to self test it as soon as you get it!

Good if you consider it to be disposable
Good if you consider it to be disposable. The bed will last about 3-4 months and then start to give out. Because of the new construction the leak usually develops deep in between the top and bottom halves making it impossible to repair. Intex does cover it for 90 days and I got a replacement that now, just past 90 days, is also starting to leak. I will buy another.

Did not last, impossible to repair
It lasted about a couple of months. Was used very carefully by my parents who were visiting. It was very comfortable while it lasted, but soon it started to slowly deflate. Due to the sandwich structure it is impossible to reach the hole and repair it, so I had to trash it. Now I have a “normal” air bed, 4 months and going strong, and I know that if a hole comes out, at some point, it will be relatively easy to find and repair it.
