I wish I could give this a good review. I was very excited about this purchase. I also wish I had read the reviews prior to buying. 2 weeks in the device stopped working with the app. Went through all the troubleshooting procedures to no avail. When you spend this kind of money on something you shouldn’t be having these problems. I even purchased the humidification system to go with it, probably should have held onto that 165.00. Good money after bad.

Great product! I ordered this during Covid because I wasn’t able to go to a fancy restaurant and get a good steak. The Steak Ager works perfectly, I prefer my own 60 day aged steaks over any restaurant steak I’ve ever had. Money well spent!!

​I bought my husband the Steakager 40 for Christmas and he's had nothing but problems and no one will help him! It's never worked properly​ he's been getting consistent customer service promises that never come through so 8 months later h​e still doesn't have a product that works, just a bunch of ruined meat.

Got one for my husband about 5 yrs ago. Best money spent. Best dry aged steaks without the hight end restaurant price. We've done 28, 33, 38 and 48 day aged full primal lions and everyone was perfect. Advise to watch the chef videos, they will teach you slot, especially about the Pellical (outside hard aged trimmings). I use this for many adds for flavor (beans, greens, sausage, Chilli). He loves me!! Can't top this Christmas gift. Plus customer service us great, responsive.

I was excited to see this box under the Christmas tree, but that excitement turned to frustration when I tried to get it going. The control panel was defective right out of the box, my contact with customer service was promising at first but then I noticed that none of the tracking numbers for the replacement panels never came through. There were more promises about an update that was going to fix bugs in the app, but those never came through. Finally, after 7 months Scot just completely ghosted me. I would highly recommend you google "Steakager Reviews" before you spend $1,300 on what is effectively a $139 college refrigerator. Also, buy one of those mats that goes under a water heater in case they leak because the insulation on the unit is so poor that I have constant puddles on my floor.

The app is totally unusable for majority buyers. Check the appstore reviews and you will understand what I mean. Also l, the build quality is really subpar. Danby made a good enough normal fridge, but steakager did not make the mods with precision.Also note that this is just the Danby 117 fridge. only mod seems to be the fan and UV. which you can do for 50-70 bucks. Nothing additional done for humidity control other than a running fan.
