I bought this product on a whim because I had heard a story about how these things were around in the 50s or 60s and they worked amazingly at sucking the juice right out of an orange. But this one is not a very good replica - apparently the old ones were made of metal and were much more aggressive. These plastic replicas don't shred the orange much, and I end up squeezing the orange so much that it inevitably splits. It was a novel idea, though.

These sippers were favorites of my children when they were little and I am so excited to introduce my grandchildren to this fun sipper and the delicious juice they can enjoy

Fun memories of my childhood
I had one of these when I was a kid and remember how cool it was so bought a couple for my daughter and granddaughter. They seem to enjoy it. Fun way to sip on oranges!

I remember these as a kid
I was trying to find this for my kids. I remember using this as a kid to drink straight from an orange. This is exactly what I was looking for.
