NOW Foods Dmg, 100 Caps (125 mg)

I actually thought I was buying a straight Glycine supp...glad I got this though. Energy level is up. Sleeping better. Dreams are weird weird weird, but I can deal with that. Mood is calm. Never thought this would make such a difference but it does. Taking once in the morning, and another a couple of hours before bedtime. Sporadic headaches...just a bit. Is not 100% to the good, but I would say 80%. Everyone has different chemistry. Give it a try! (edit) I am making sure NOT to take this on an empty stomach. On my fasting days I am going to skip the evening dose.

Started using this product for dog with seizures. My dog had mild seizures on a fairly consistent schedule. Usually every 9 weeks or so. The vet recommended this product and we have been using for 7 months. Since we began dosing (one pill daily) he has not experienced one seizure. This certainly is a better alternative to the medications that were previously recommended.

Reordering as we speak. I took 1 cap a day and on the 3rd day I felt awake and a bit clearer thinking. I am not kidding! I used to feel like I would like a mid-morning nap, but now I don't. My energy and focus are much better. I feel like I am better able to plan things, although I still may not want to do them at least I can prioritize and plan better. I heard some Dr. on a video say only sub-lingual doses work... not true. So glad I tried this.

I bought the supplement for my mother in hopes that it would help with her Alzheimer's and Aphasia. Through my research, I found out that Alzheimer's and Autism are similar in 162 ways. Since this supplement seems to be helping with autism, I decided to try it for my mother. She has been taking it for about a month, and we are seeing some improvement. She is staying awake and alert much more of the day, and is even saying some words and short phrases. I am not expecting any miracles as my mother is 95 years old, but I am encouraged by the improvements we have seen since starting her on the DMG. I should also mention that since she came to live with us 3 years ago, we have improved her diet and reduced her meds from 10 to 1. We have also been using other supplements for her health and to improve her brain. DMG is one supplement that we have seen the most improvement in a relatively short period of time. Since we have been seeing improvement with the DMG, we will be switching to TMG when the DMG is gone. We have been using this supplement in conjunction with B complex vitamins and magnesium supplements. The L-threonate magnesium offered by Doctors' Best is the next one we will be trying. This form of magnesium has been shown to get past the blood-brain barrier.

Great product. Many people claim that DMG is helpful is oxigenation of the brain and body. Whether that is scientifically proven, I cannot say. What I can say is that it has helped me considerably. The NOW product is good quality, with good packaging, and much cheaper that what I can find locally at the vitamin stores.
