Worth every penny
The best purchase for this month! very economical consumption, so worth it. Follow the instructions and your skin will be the most tender! Do not use if you have active rashes. I also recommend applying for the first time not for 10 minutes but for 3-4 minutes to check the skin reaction

Too strong for my sensitive skin - 10% Glycolic Acid and 6% Lactobionic Acid
When friends and family ask me about my skin, I always tell them that AHAs, BHAs, and PHAs, are the back bone of my skincare routine. These chemical exfoliants help smooth the texture of my skin, brighten skin tone, and dry out the excess sebum of my combination oily skin. This Glyco-Lacto Peel from Skin Regimen is higher concentration of AHA/BHA/PHAs than I've used before. I have tried many different brands but my previous go-to brand had 4% of each. This Glyco-Lacto peel, this contains 10% Glyco and 6% Lacto. For my sensitive skin, this higher concentration causes some tingling/burning sensation on my very sensitive skin that I don't get from my other chemical exfoliants. The instructions say to leave this on for 10 minutes and by the end of it, it always leaves my skin feeling irritated.I had no issues whatsoever with my previous brand if I went over the 10-15minute treatment. With this one, I can go about 5 minutes then the burning sensation starts and I can't go for much longer. Don't get me wrong though... after I wash this off my skin looks amazing and feels really soft. Unfortunately since it also leaves my skin feeling sensitive to the touch. Overall I think this would be a great product for those who don't have sensitive skin. It gives really great results. However, this higher concentration of AHA/PHA is just too much for my sensitive skin.Review For:/skin regimen/Glyco-Lacto Peel, Fragrance-free, 1.69 oz.

How much glycolic acid, you may wonder?
Skin Regimen’s Glyo-lacto Peel utilizes glycolic acid for exfoliating. It can cause irritation in a minority of users. Several other brands include the exact percentage and also urge the Skin Regimen’s folks to list the percentage so users can confer with their dermatologist to ensure their wisest approach. At the bottom of the list is an ingredient to be aware of—Phenoxyethanol. There have been reports of uncommon reactions to phenoxyethanol being quite rarely linked to eczema and strong allergic reactions. Phenoxyethanol use is often strongly discouraged by safe cosmetics advocates to be used around infants including those who are breast feeding. While the target market for this product is not likely to be young mothers, grandmothers love to hug their grandbabies and studies indicate this preservative should be avoided around the youngest of children. Those who wish to learn more and make the best personal decision regarding this ingredient may consider doing an online search for “phenoxyethanol safety.”Keep in mind that several beauty brands include phenoxyethanol. Reactions are uncommon.

Love How This Clears My Skin
A very good facial peel that does a great job at resurfacing your skin. It's a bit stronger than many others that I've tried, yet still gentle enough to not cause me any sort of irritation. I was a little concerned when I first applied this to my skin because it has quite an acidic scent. Smells a bit like vinegar. Not really strong, but it's definitely noticeable. It's a somewhat thin gel that spreads easily over the skin. You let it sit on clean skin for about 10 minutes or so. Then you rinse it away. Very easy to use.Once this was rinsed away, my skin felt and looked amazing. All those dead skin cells and other types of gunk and debris were stripped away. My skin looked a lot brighter and it felt super soft and smooth. It does not moisturize, so you will need your other skincare products to take care of that. This enhances your cleansing portion of your skincare regimen.Great for all skin types but if you have sensitive skin, make sure you do a patch test first. It may very well be irritating for you. You'll have to do a cost benefits analysis to decide whether any sort of burning or other potential irritation is worth the benefits of this peel. Maybe just use for a shorter time and then make sure you use a soothing moisturizer afterwards.Personally, I really love this facial peel and find it to be one of the very best that I've used to date.

Gentle but effective peel
Back in the day, I used to get skin peels all the time, including professional peels with a high percentage of acid that burned my skin. After a few rounds of suboptimal results, I started to think that peels might have been great when I was a teenager, but now that I'm past the zit stage, I should probably focus more on pampering my skin. I could no longer hope that whatever emerged after I destroyed the epidermis would be an improvement. So for the last few years, my skincare has focused on nourishing the epidermis, with an occasional microneedling to try to keep cell turnover going. But my skin doesn't love that either, so I began to wonder if I needed to look for a solution somewhere between pure kindness and a first degree burn. This glyco-lacto peel offers that middle ground. It's easy to apply, stings a tiny bit to let you know it's not just sitting there, and gently sloughs off the outer layer of tired skin cells. All in just ten minutes. The results are similar to what I've gotten with exfoliating washes, except my skin doesn't feel sandpapered. Easy to fit into the regular routine, no fragrance, and a generous amount of product to offset the price.

Exfoliates
Everyone's skin is different, but for me this was not so much of a peel as it is a very good exfoliant. It doesn't sloth off dead skin the way that a chemical appeal from a spa does, it's much more gentle. That's not to say it isn't effective because it is. It also takes a little more time, but that's fine because it doesn't injure and hurt your skin.
