They are both in the garbage
The blade is too cheap and twisted as soon as I started using them. After you could not hook the tip to measure. Poor quality

A necessity now
I've had to add metric to my wood shop, so a good tape measure that does both is great. Typical high Stanley quality, works smoothly. I think I'll get a just metric tape too, though. Having both means I can't always read the side of the tape I want.

Works perfectly
Like most Stanley products, this tape measure works exactly as it’s supposed to. It feels well made, is easy to read even with my aging eyes, and retracts smoothly. The shape of the case makes it easy to hold on to, also. For a basic tape measure, it’s as good as most people would ever need.
