I don't usually write reviews , but this jumper is a must have . I have a Mercedes sprinter van , pretty good size diesel motor . My battery was completely dead and it jumped the van 6 times that day until I could install a new battery . I also use this unit to power my dash cam when I leave the van so it's always recording . It'll run the dash cam for two days consecutively Before needing to be recharged

I found out that my V8 needs a lot of power to start. A lesson a police officer offered after giving me a jump when another vehicle failed. That lesson was not all jumper cables were created equally. So I purchased a heavier duty jumper cables (4 gauge) and it resolved my jumping issues. Then I came across the portable jump starter. This could be a useful tool. So I looked for a unit with the highest power available at a reasonable price. I purchased this unit because the specs were pretty good and it would be available for fast delivery. It was a good start. I needed it right away, jumping my hard to start vehicle three times on the first day in the first attempts. However, two weeks later, when the new battery was completely without power due to a failed alternator. The jump starter failed to activate when it did not detect a signal from my very weak or dead battery. It would not come to ready state (solid green light), just flashed green. Apparently it needs to detect some voltage to go to ready.

Came fully charged. Jumped a compact car that had a low battery and the charge indicator dropped to half charged. Over the next few days it went dead. I plugged it in to recharge it and it wouldn't charge. the charge LEDs would just pulse dimly. Returned it. I would have opted for a replacement to see if it was a fluke but there was no option for that from Amazon for this product. Looking for a different, more respected brand.

This is almost an essential tool to have in your car in case of emergencies. I've only had it for 3 days, and it's already came in handy several times. My sister's minivan has a bad battery and from time to time it doesn't want to turn on. This is a good thing to have around until she can replace the battery. It's extremely easy to use. On top of being an excellent portable jump starter, it's also a portable charger as well. If you're in a situation where your car doesn't start and you do need to charge your phone this also has you covered. 16,800mAh is nothing to sneeze at. It's large enough to charge any phone on the market at least 2 times if you're phone battery is over 5000mAh and more if it's smaller.How to use it:- Plug the starter cables into the charger- The light blinks green- Connect it to the car battery- Start the car- Unplug the cables from the charger- Remove the cables from your car batteryIt's really that simple. I work as a service manager at a medium sized dealership. Purchased this jump box for the occasional jump of vehicles that have a dead battery. For the most part all of my technicians have their own jump boxes as well, so this was probably used around 20 times over the course of the 5 months I have owned it. While it worked it was awesome, several times when my technicians jump boxes would not jump a vehicle this one would come through. As of today, April 26th 2017, the green light on the cable no longer lights up and will not jump a vehicle. I have tried the reset button and made sure all connections were tight and nothing was loose. Could not find any fault with the wiring. Also obviously made sure that the box was charged and it does have a full charge. The box will still charge other devices via USB so I assume the fault lies in the cable. If a new cable needs to be purchased every 5 months this is not the jump box for me.

This porta power pack works great. I cold started my mid 90's ford F150 from a completely dead state (10.8 V) and it started with no issue so this thing has some serious cranking amps.The pack had enough power to charge my phone, watch and a few other gadgets through the day and it still had 3/4 charge.There is a DC adapter and wall wart that you use to power it up (no USB charging on the inlet side). I've had it in my trunk for a couple weeks and it has held charge. The case is nice and handy to pack all the items that come with it.This is a solid buy, and works well.

This thing works great for jumping my 5.7L V8 Tundra, not an issue. Ive used it 3 times while out camping to help out people who have had a dead battery in the morning.This is a Battery so AS WITH ANY BATTERY, keep it topped of and it will last a really long time. Ive had mine 2 years now, and still going strong. Dont store it dead, it will kill the internal battery.

Great portable jumper....and I'm a woman who uses it! My battery in my Kia has been acting up all winter. I had to have security jump start it more than once. So annoying! Husband bought me this Guluman portable car jump starter and it works great. It's simple and easy to hook up. Not going to lie I was nervous after seeing the "sparks" with a normal jump but this little guy doesn't spark at all. Nothing scary at all.
