I typically use fuel canisters and a small camp stove to do my cooking on camping trips, so this lantern made a lot of sense as I already had a few canisters packed to bring with me. It gives you that feeling of a traditional lantern. It's a very small and compact product, but is built very well. It's very sturdy and comes with a small plastic case to protect it. I love everything snow peak makes, this is not an exception!

No real purpose to owning one of these other than they look nice when lit if your going for the full on snow peak look. I like it and it does give a good feel good factor in the garden as a backdrop to a glass of wine.
