Powerhouse Charger is the REAL DEAL!
Bought this charger because our family enjoys camping and we have been in a few tight spots in past where we need our phones and could not charge. This product ain't no rinky dinky piece of junk that's going to let you down after 1-2 uses. This is sturdy and built to last. Im super impressed with the quality of this product. Clearly made out of materials that are not going to fall apart and break. Very well built. Can't wait to take this out camping. It's an added safety measure for my family should we need to charge our phone in an emergency. Also, we've been getting some storms recently and when the power goes out, we can't charge. Now we can!! Super pleased with this purchased. I haven't used this in an emergency situation yet, but I have tried it in the house. I timed how long it took to charge and it only 4 minutes and 20 seconds to charge my iPhone by over 10%. Powerhouse fo' sure!! I did have to put a little muscle into the cranking, but wasn't too difficult. Switched arms a couple of times during the 4 minutes of cranking. Did take a few minutes to try to figure out the best location to secure the charger (used a table) but now that I know how to secure it to a hard surface for stability, it's going to be much easier in the future (it comes with everything you need to secure it). This is money well spent and I'd give this product an A+

Setup and instructions were simple and understandable! It’s top notch quality and it’s amazing!
Here’s my updated review. This is a Beast!! Its small but kinda heavy it comes with its own little tool bag, which is in no way cheap material to hold the powerhouse inside. I know what some will say it’s so expensive, but let me say this, if you have a small solar generator and you don’t have sunshine to use your solar panels, then what? This Zeus Dynamo is your rescue! Follow the simple instructions to put it together (its not rocket science) but do remember to follow the instructions and don’t crank the wrong direction or you could break the internal parts. I used it to charge up or top off one of my current power banks an energizer 300 watt and a 700 watt. Keep in mind that that you will get a workout in your arms so switch arms, it’s not so difficult to do, I find I listen to music with a cup of coffee in one hand and crank with the other. It does take time but if I lose power, I know that I have a backup if my solar panel isn’t going to work on a cloudy or rainy day and I have a child who is autistic so some things he requires need electricity. This helps me to be reassured I always have a backup plan. This is the real deal and although it is pricey you get the best quality product for your money, to me this is the best product out there, you aren’t going to get any better than this unless the company makes it better, but in my opinion this is the best thing to have. If you have a small solar power/battery pack setup then you should probably get this product. I bought this product and I saved for it ,as I’m a single mother and I don’t regret buying this! I am saying that if you are on the fence about buying this, do it. The customer service is exceptional if you have questions, I emailed and got a response back same day. Like others have stated I did have to get one adapter cord to use to connect to my battery pack but that was less then 10 dollars on Amazon. Hope this helps anyone in deciding whether or not to purchase.

Zeus's buffer battery-shelf life issue
Excelent choice for emergency. Other chargers are useless Zeus dynamo is the only one which i came across that really works. Unfortunately you need a lot of fast cranking to charge an android which does not charge at slow pace and at first try i couldn't find a desk thin enough to fasten it, there was lacking a few millimeters. Overall the only thing I would recommend, good craftsmanship. And one more thing... I didn't take it a part but on internet i saw a video that it has a small buffer battery so for me, a shelf life is undera a BIG QUESTION and a big issue.

Around 40 watts with the correct appliances
Usb c to dc 20v trigger wire direct to a jackery battery I can get average 30 watts peak 40 watts, it does fluctuate a bit from avg26 up and down 36. With a portable li ion battery that charges 12.5v I can easily get 1.5 amps at 1 rotation per second. Increasing the rotation does not increase amperage but is due to limitations from battery. I have not attempted to use both plugs at once. If using usb c and charging at 9v the handle becomes maybe 60% stiffer while not able to generate more than 18w (possible limitations from my battery and/or PD speeds) At 5v, any child could easily spin it for a while because of the little resistance, but I couldn’t actually recommend using this unless for emergency and not for frequent use. It becomes quite difficult to generate more than 15w and that could easily be because of the older usb protocol or how the device cannot efficiently convert the initial power output voltage down to 5v. Overall, meets my expectations given the price. At a cheaper price, it would exceed my expectations. Seems to be extremely well built, smooth rotation after 100 minutes of testing, very nice tools to secure device easily, and the output seems good, albeit less than advertised, though they have not specified what would be optimal charging procedure. I am curious about the longevity of this device. I have tested it roughly for 2 hours over a period of two weeks and can say this thing is still smooth and works just as it arrived. It was smaller than I imaged from the photos but that’s not a bad thing though since it is quite portable at this size, albeit heavy. Can highly recommend if you have the money and need for this. I do really wish it could be cheaper but there’s very little to compare it to. My suggestion to the company would be to try make it somehow adaptable to pedals with two devices :) It’s a good work out and honestly sort of feels like rowing if you do it in a certain fashion.

300 Rotations for One Percent, Works but you going to earn every volt!
Get ready for a serious workout, it's about three hundred turns for every one percent charge. Yes I'm serious, it's absolutely a workout. That said, it does what we used to call a deep cycle charge which seems to last a little longer than a regular charge but MY GOD YOU ARE GOING TO WORK FOR IT!

Ive used others & this knocks the spots off the competition, really well made & a good little shoulder workout,i found best to use if you stand above it & use a downward arm motion,be ready to keep tightening up the allen key bolts, after 20days of use,it decides to work properly sometimes then its a case of replacing the cable & making sure there nothing on in your phone as it seems to effect how it works from a hard to a soft action,i used an anker prime charger but have stopped due to the energy that i put in,disapearing

This dynamo is exceptionally well-built—built like a tank. I’m genuinely impressed with the quality of this engineering. If you need one, look no further.

RETRO FUTURISM The resistance of the crank is comparable to that of an antique telephone (...); Takes app. 200 turns of the crank at medium speed (app. 4 minutes) for 1% charge of my Huawei P30 Light, do the count (and steel biceps) for a full charge .... The whole stuffed up in its well compartmentalised quality bag, makes an excellent weight of morning exercises, which will not be neglected, if you do not want to relegate it to emergency calls, especially since it is visibly designed for sustained, heavy-duty use.

This absolutely works as advertised but boy does it take some elbow grease to get just a few percent on the most average of USB devices. Consistency is key and there will be resistance as more watts are pulled. I definitely prefer my solar panels which can pull 100 watts each on a nice day (2x what this can do), but if it is cloudy/rainy and you really need a few drops of juice, this certainly comes in handy. I do agree with the review that said, if only this could be hooked up to a bike of some sort, you could really get some juice out of this. The handle is meant to be screwed to the main unit according to the instructions, but the unit doesn't actually have any holes to screw into so it cannot be done. See photos for reference. Fortunately the handle is pretty stable and doesn't fall off easily so it doesn't render the product unusable, but still not great.

My review is very similar to another review already posted. Indeed, the handle is comfortable and the cranking is smooth. I can easily generate 25-30W of power, without sweating, for at least 10 minutes, switching arms every minute or so. By putting some effort in the cranking, I can generate upwards of 50-55W. I have purchased a USB-C to DC 5521 converter cable. I am using a power station (Energizer PPS320W01) to store the power, from which I can then charge the other electronics. You can also charge the electronics directly, of course. Very satisfied with the purchase. An A+ product :)
