One sad day my HP Pavilion Gaming 15 (15-cx0030nr) began running tragically slow, it had started making a buzzing noise earlier in the week, but was now quite silent. After investigating I found that the CPU was clocked at .8 Ghz and even more investigation revealed the CPU fan had quit spinning entirely. Alas, my Pavilion still seemed so young, but it did not seem it was long for this world.Naturally, in denial, I looked for hope and found these fans. They seemed inexpensive, and had the right part numbers… Could it be so simple? It was indeed, fans replaced the Pavillion now running at full clock speeds again.Also, they are identical to the OEM fan including the metal stamping, great replacement fan.
