This purse turned out so cute. Its a big hit at my events.

I originally bought this mold and sent it back because it didn’t make sense why one of the molds was smaller than the other. But then I watched some videos and realized, this is a shaker purse. Meaning you still have to buy two sets of the molds to have two sides of the purse. The smaller mold is meant to go on the outside, and you can put things in it similar to a snow globe without the liquid, hence the reason it’s called a shaker purse. I hope this helps anyone who has purchased this and didn’t understand like I didn’t, that it’s an addition to the outside of the purse. The photo I’m sharing is the purse in progress with two clear sides that will be attached to the outside when it is all cured. You don’t have to put the shaker part on both side sides. You can put it on one side.

I used to make an order with epoxy resin and beyond happy with the result and I made tiny mistake while pouring and cleaned with alcohol and nail polish remover and the chain didn't lose color which is perfect

These make great gifts. I bought two molds. Each mold takes approximately about 5 ozs of resin.

I have tried and wasted different resin products, and now I think this is an issue with the mold because the haze mimics the back part of mold. It looked fine with another silicone mold product. If you are trying to make something that is transparent or clear, stay away from this product.

What a dumb way to sell a purse mold that needs two sides! This was my first time making this so I wasn't aware that this set only has one side. I will have to try to mix another batch of resin and hope the colors match. I have passed the time to return this or else it would be back at Amazon. I am so disappointed. On another note, the mold itself is not bad. The halves I made came out very nice. The frames and chain strap are nice. Too bad I won't be able to give this away as a gift today as I hoped because the other side isn't done!! Either buy 2 sets or don't buy this crap at all!!

I have no complaints with this kit 😃. But you better buy 2. Because you will need the extra mold. You'll understand if you buy one 🙂
