Q: Just arrived. plug in to charge and creeps up to 5 lights on. nothing happens when i turn it on and press the lighter button. what to i do? is it doa?

when you press the button not a lot will happen, if you look carefully you will see a very thin arc of electricity at the end but it is tiny, you wont see flames or anything like that. you just place on the the wick you want to light and press your button. If it's not lighting anything then for sure its a dud. you dont need to do a lot to get this to work.

Put it on charge till all 4 blue lights show it is now is fully charged. Make shore you turn of the lighter every time used .Check the blue lites when it is down to one blue light getting near reacharge .Recharge switched of.

Q: Stoped working what can I do

You don't say if it is charged or not. There should be 5 blue dots lit up below the black on/off switch on the side. If these are not lit up then it needs charging using a USB lead from a battery or Laptop/ Desktop. When these are lit it should be good to go. The dots will light up when the switch is moved to "on". If it is charged up it looks like it might be broken so you will need to return it to Amazon.
