It can be a hassle trying to get a rake, broom, or other long-handle tool to a work area in the yard when a wheelbarrow or four-wheel yard cart also is required. I have a four-wheel, 4-cubic-foot Gorilla Cart that is very helpful but does not reliably keep long-handled tools in place from here to there.These tool holders work extremely well for the purpose. I got two sets so that I could transport two long-handled tools---one on each side of the cart---at a time. I even used one set to haul around a string trimmer, which, with some jockeying of it on the tool holders, was immobilized for the trundling around.These tool holders are robust, give every indication of lasting a long time, and have prodigiously strong springs. (To exercise wise caution, I plan to remove the tool holders when they are not in actual use; that is to say, I won't leave them on the Gorilla Cart. That will more nearly ensure a long life for the springs.)

Tired of shovels, rakes, or other long-handled tools falling off while moving a full wheelbarrow, these clips are a fantastic solution! They fit on my yard wagon, my Gorilla cart, and pull behind trailer used with a riding mower.I intend to buy another set so I can carry a tool on each side; they only hold one tool but I would think using a couple pieces of Velcro to strap a couple tools together would work fine for the few times I need more than two.The picture shows a small area where the tool handle is held - and it is (it holds a broom handle snugly!) It will expand easily for larger diameter handles like shovels and tampers, so be assured it works for all sizes (if you need an idea of how that works, clip a clothes pin to a piece of cardboard then spread the handle part - these work exactly the same way).

I bought these for my Worx Aerocart to transport tools when doing yard work. So far, it works as stated. Each clamp can hold a small garden tool or when combined, hold a large tool such as a hoe, shovel or rake. They even come with adapters that allow them to clamp onto traditional wheel barrels. The will not work for clamping wood together, but that it’s not what they are designed to do.

Although I have a Worx wagon I actually bought these to attach tools to my garden tractor. I'm not using them exactly as designed but they work and are more helpful that the Command hooks I attached on the other side of the tractor hood because these provide a grip to the tool and hold it in place better. I was pleased to note that they come with additional pieces you can screw into them so they work with other yard carts that don't have the rolled lip the Worx cart does. They are quite large, about 6" tall, and the spring serves both to manage the process of opening and closing the clips to seat them in place, but also to grip tools of different sizes in the top opening.

I bought this clips to use on my four-wheeled Smart Cart (a wheelbarrow substitute) to hold a rake, shovel or other long-handled device when I take the cart around the garden to haul things for planting or to store pulled weeds for bagging or composting. The fit of these clips is only so-so on my SmartCart, and the rake didn't always stay in place. I didn't try to see if they could hold a shovel, because it seemed unlikely. When used on a SmartCart, the clips didn't leave much room to grasp the rake that I tried to insert into them. Hopefully, the clips will work much better on a standard, one-wheel wheelbarrow.

I wanted these clips for a long time and had them on my 'Wish List' as a hint for my husband to buy them for me. But recently, I decided I just wanted them and ordered them for myself. I have a Gorilla Cart for my yard and gardening needs and always hated that the rake would bounce right out of the cart partway in my travels through the yard. These clips are heavy duty and I couldn't wait to clip them to the Gorilla Cart. They fit perfectly. It's winter yet, so I haven't had time to drag out the cart and use it but I can tell you they fit great on the Gorilla Cart. I would recommend them.

I got these to add to my gorilla cart for holding my tools so they are not in my load box. This helps a lot as they are not in the way and not willing on the ground.

Great idea. It is one of those ideas where someone thinks things through.
