I've been buying it for years, the last container seems scented.** A: It's always had something of a very clean gentle smell to it, but no true fragrance. Very nice, still. I've used it for years too. I think we get more sensitive to scent the older we get.👍 **Q: Is this lotion oil-free?** A: It does not advertise as "oil free" but I have used this lotion for over 15 years and there is nothing oily about it. I'd tried numerous things to soothe my burning, itching, aching eyelids( and it is not easy to find products that are safe for use on the eyelid). At the time I was living in Los Angeles and a pharmacist in a local grocery store recommended this product to me. What a relief from my discomfort I experienced with just the first use! I used to purchase the product then in Los Angeles as needed but then I moved to Pennsylvania and that's when I could not readily find Moisturel on the store shelf....that along with a packaging change lead me to not be sure of what I was looking for anymore when I was shopping for this product. So I searched the internet & Amazon.com and VOILA----I had the product in my hand within 2 days and my eyelids are back to normal.
