Heh, shipped fast ... of course, classic little candies!

This is a photo of one box. I opened several boxes to find them to be the same. It is sad to see the quality of products decline so much. I would never recommend “SweetHearts” brand.

The exact candy sweethearts I grew up with!

Necco went out of business and Spangler candies (maker of dun-dums) saved the day. They revived the original recipe and brought back wintergreen and banana. But when relocating the equipment, there were issues with setup. They purchased new printing equipment but it was damaged in shipping. But rather than delay production and leave buyers with only those awful Brach’s knock offs, they went ahead even though there are printing problems.The ones I bought off the shelf at the local store are the same. This isn’t an issue with the Amazon seller. It is company-wide. They are working on it. At least we can still enjoy the taste of these classic candies, even if they are unreadable.

I was thrilled to find this old favorite was again available, so that my daughter could experience these I was even more thrilled to find that they are peanut-safe, so that my wife could also enjoy them.And then they got here. 12 boxes of rock-hard, somewhat misshapen candy hearts, with text that is almost completely illegible. Absolutely NOT the quality of product I remember or expect from a brand that provided life-long memories. These are not sweethearts at all. These are ugly little tooth-breakers.I am very disappointed in these.

I grew up during the 60's and 70's and loved getting these every Valentines day! They were made by the same company that made Necco Wafers. They were the same exact candy as Necco wafers. Necco Wafers were hard/crunchy and these are hard/crunchy. These have the same exact flavors as the originals.Cons: the ONLY thing wrong with these is the printed words are all messed up. I am an adult - I don't care about that.Brachs candies used to make "conversation hearts" with "classic flavors" that were almost like these. I haven't been able to find Brachs classic flavor this year, just the newer flavors that have been out for several years. But even Brachs the candies are usually soft or at least softer than these. And while I enjoy the Brachs, they are not these. I love this flavor and crunchiness!

Half of the hearts had no writing on them whatsoever, and the other ones were smeared and therefore not legible. It’s like they use the dregs of this product. Very disappointed.
