I’ve had many tripods in my life, and this is by far the best one. Very sturdy, very easy to use, the fittings are of excellent quality and I do not think I’m going to have a problem at all in the future in terms of getting the legs of the tripod working properly. I also like how smoothly the tripod worked when I was trying to change the camera angle.

Sturdy and balanced

Bought a Manfrotto Befree and was highly disappointed, as nothingworked as it should and control mechanismswere weak. Decided to return. Saw this on Prime days and saw the reviews (looked almost too good to be true) so Decided to pull the trigger. Mind own! It's not light, but it's perfect in every other sense. The construction is smart and SOLID, controls are easily maneuvered, and everything locks in flawlessly. The quick release plate screws have a half moon turning mechanism so you dont need a screwdriver and inserting and removing the plate is a cinch. Taking it down to return it to the zippered carry case is easy as well. 110% recommend!

Although primary design probably not be for field use, this tripod is absolutely amazing for the price and far better than many purpose built spotting scope tripods. Handles 80mm scopes with ease. Gimbal head is silky smooth in all planes of movement, perfect for long distance spotting applications. Legs are easily configured, versatile and sturdy. Even includes carrying bag.

Tough unit! Any adjustment you would ever dream of! Heavy duty, nothing flimsy about it, can easily hold my canon 5 dsr camera and 100- to 400L lens, w/x2 extender! Great stability and functionality! Built in level! Not lightweight, if you are going to hike with this, it is a bit heavy and awkward! Not much negative for this quality tripod!

I'm so glad to have gotten this tripod, makes taking pictures and videos so much better. The rotation is great and makes recordings look a lot better. When you get this tripod, please loosen the rotation head swivel and use a little WD Silicone (not too much) and on the sliding plate also. This helps movement even better. This thing folds and transports quickly. I really like it and it's worth the money. Sets up in less than 3 minutes and is read for use. Cameras, Camcorders, and if you use tablets all you need is an adapter base that screws down to the plate and you in the game. Great piece of equipment.

This DV-1 tripod is my my first video tripod, though I have bought many tripods for still photography (analog and digital) over the past several decades. I bought this video tripod to use with a new Full HD camcorder to shoot video of my grandson playing soccer. I like the weight of this tripod and I find that using one hand to push down on the camcorder helps add smoothness when panning vertically or horizontally. The legs are easy to extend with the flip of only three knobs. The head has a bowl adjustment where the user loosens the head from the bottom to level the head quickly and easily with a built in level bubble even if the ground or leg adjustments are not perfectly level. If I let go of the control handle, the fluid tripod head does not drop down like a still camera tripod head tends to do. I can let go of the control handle when using the camcorder and grab my DLSR without worrying about damaging the camcorder. The fluid head is strong enough to prevent a DLSR such as my Nikon D7500 DX or D750 FX DLSR, either with a 70-300 mm lens, from dropping when I let go of the control handle. This is probably a mis-understanding on my part but I thought both the vertical and horizontal movements would be adjustable fluid dampened, however, only the vertical movement is adjustable fluid dampened. The horizontal movement can have resistance added by tightening an adjustment, but being mechanical friction based instead of fluid based, tends to be not smooth. The vertical adjustable fluid dampened movement is very smooth. The bag seene sturdy and the fact the rubber feet can be tightened by hand to extend built in spikes which dig into soil or grass, is handy.

Spoiler alert. I really like this tripod. It arrived well packaged and in a quality padded carry case. The tripod was in a plastic bag and the handle was too. The knobs and levers on the tripod are solid and not flimsy. Coming from a heavy duty Manfrotto tripod and pistol grip head I’ve had forever, it took me a few minutes to get used to the use of a fluid head. Primarily the knobs to tighten/loosen the pan/tilt functions. But I like the options. The tension is sufficient and allows smooth movement with enough resistance to avoid inconsistent panning/tilting. The legs are sturdy and the knobs to tighten / loosen the legs seem to have just the right grip. The rubber feet can be adjusted to expose a spiked foot for outdoor use. Overall the tripod sits sturdy and is able to confidently hold my rig (canon r5 with cage on 15mm rails, 28-70 lens, v-mount battery, monitor and microphone). This purchase was a win!

Je n'ai pas aimé que lors de la commande, la date de livraison indiquée était le 26 août, mais dès que j'ai confirmé et payé la commande, j'ai eu comme indication "Livraison dès que possible", et pas de nouvelles pendant 2 semaines environ, pour finalement une livraison le 12 septembre. :-(

Love this tripod, was sceptical at first, but wow was I wrong. I haven’t even used my miller since I bought this. Lightweight, great fluid head, robust design, plates easy to buy. Love the accessory connectors on side, no need for super clamps. Would buy again.

まず、17,000円を切るこの価格の安さに驚きました。 RAUBAYという聞いたことのないメーカーでしたが（いまだにどこの国のメーカーかわかりません）、ちゃんと公式が出している動画も何本かあったので、悪くなさそうな三脚だなという安心感がありました。 私が持っているのはソニーの古いハンディカムで、ごく普通のサイズの家庭用ビデオカメラです。 こんな立派な三脚は本当は必要ないのかもしれませんが、通行人の頭越しから被写体を撮影しないといけない状況が多々あり、どうしても高さが必要でした。 高さを出すためにこれまではブーム付きマイクスタンドを三脚代わりに使っていました。しかし最近重みでロックが効かず、ズルズル落ちてきてしまうことが増えてきたため、180cm以上の高さが出せるものが欲しかったのです。どうせならしっかりした三脚がいいなと。 調べているとSmallRigから186cmの高さが出せる安い三脚をYouTubeで発見し、購入を検討しましたが、届いたときから壊れていたとか、使っていて部品が割れたとか、心配なレビューがありました。 こちらのRAUBAYの商品は日本人のレビューが少なかったようでしたが、公式が出している動画を信じて購入したところ、大正解でした。 もちろん到着時からの故障はありません。 脚を全部伸ばして180cmの高さからの撮影も問題なくできます。 パンをして止めた時の揺り戻しが若干ありますが、望遠にしていなければわからないぐらいです。 有名メーカーの高額な三脚に比べると当然劣ると思いますが、この金額でしっかりした作りであれば、私にとっては必要十分です。コスパが良すぎるくらいです。 他の人に教えたくないくらい気に入っていますが、RAUBAYさんの今後の発展のためにも、気になる方は買ってみてはいかがでしょう。 こちらの商品はミッドスプレッダーのタイプです。少し金額は上がりますがグランドスプレッダーもあります。 今後の商品にも期待しています。
