Dimensions/Learn-A-Craft Stamped Cross Stitch Kit 3" Round, The Whale

I ordered this as my coworker mentioned she does cross stitching. I love my crafts and wanted to give it a try. I did try a more difficult cross stitch and got too overwhelmed with the multiple colors and it wasn't very beginner friendly. This cross stitch was "Sweet" so to say! I really enjoyed doing it. It came out super cute! The instructions are easy to follow. The kit has everything, 3" Frame, Aida Cloth, Needle, embroidery floss, and the Instruction Chart. I am a 22 year old female. I wouldn't recommend this to kids below 12. Cross stitching take quite a bit of patience. Will definitely purchase more again!

My 9 year old daughter is very excited to be doing this craft. It is nice to find a craft that is not too time consuming and easy enough for her to know what to do. We have two issues...one, it is difficult to thread the needle and second the whole pattern needs to be bigger for children. It is difficult to sew such tiny cross stitches.

Giftee enjoyed the panda & she completed it in about two hours, But! Unlike most other cross stitches, there is no picture imprinted on the screen. BUT there are clear instructions on how to make a panda without a picture to follow.

The piece of fabric that comes with this isn't actual aida fabric (what you normally use for cross stitching). It's like a piece of muslin or something, with the pattern stamped on it. Even with the pattern, it's nearly impossibly to created uniform X's. Do not recommend.

I have completed this project yet but am looking forward to it being done!

I love that the pattern was printed on the material! This was my first cross stitch project ever and this was an excellent way to start!

A great little project for beginners! Very cute. Easy-to-follow instructions. My only complaint is the blue area is vinyl and makes it difficult to stretch in the frame.

This is a lovely little kit. I hadn't done any embroidery or cross stitching for many years and wanted to practice before teaching my seven year old Granddaughter. This was an ideal little project and looks good when finished.

I just opened this kit with my granddaughter. There is no needle or thread in the package. As a teaching tool for cross stitch it is much to difficult for a beginner - very very small and the fabric isn't an Aida and passing the threads through is too difficult for a beginner.
