Good product
Added to boat. Wood is good quality and well formed. You must drill your own screw holes. Requires some (minimal) DIY skills - which you have if you own a boat. No issues.

Quality workmanship
We purchased these to install in my mother’s house as safety grabs. We didn’t want the sterile feel of steel in the living areas of the house.The teakwood is smoothly milled so that it doesn’t have rough spots. My husband installed them using anchor bolts in places where they couldn’t be installed directly into wood. Obviously they wouldn’t meet all of the ADA standards, but they work for what we needed. We purchased both the single and double handled options.

Would be a nice product if it came with predrilled holes and hardware
It does not come with predrilled holes and the wood busted when my husband went to drill into it to install it

No predrilled holes to mount
Very good quality but we cracked it drilling holes in it to mount!Should come predrllled or at least inform you of that! I like it otherwise just another of work to drill and no screws incl.

Exactly what was needed for indoor grab bars for an elderly person to hold onto and doesn't make a house look industrial or institutional with metal grab bars.

just what needed for a real wood small handrail
Perfect. of course I needed to drill my own holes in the handrail. That's a good thing! As I usually end up putting these in awkward positions so drilling for those is never the normal

NOT USEABLE as sent
There were NO holes pre-drilled for attachment to a surface? This necessitates a drill + much more work to install! A little too long too.
