Q: Is the amp weather proof or just the speakers. And does weather proof mean water proof?

The MCBK470B (speakers+amplifier) is weatherproof or in other words, water resistant, it is not waterproof. This set up is able to resist the penetration of water to some degree but not entirely.

Q: How long is the cable that runs betwen the speakers and the amp? Want to install 2 speakers on mirrors and 2 speakers on the back of my bike?

The speaker leads are on the short side & hard wired into the plug so you will have to cut and solder in a length of wire to get to the rear of the bike. In fact, depending where you mount the amp you may have to modify the front leads as well. The fact that ALL wires are hard wired into the main plug is the single drawback to the Boss systems. If you don't have room to sneak the whole speaker thru an area/opening you will have to cut wires for routing purposes. I havnt installed "this" system on my bike yet but I do have the 600watt 2 speaker system currently mounted & it sounds pretty good (lacks bass) But for its price you would b hard pressed to find a better system. The matte black speakers aren't as tacky looking as some chrome speakers I've seen (IMO)

Q: How are these on sport touring bikes?

These are greate speakers. You will be able to hear the music loud and clear. I have mine on a sportster with reinehart pipes and I can still hear the music with no problem.

Q: Would these work for a roketa scooter 250cc?

It will work on any 12v system car, boat, motorcycle, slingshot or scooter.... the answer is , it works using a 12 volt DC switched power source. So if your scooter has this, then yes . 👍🏻
