Overall lengrh. Handle lengrh to the top of the straw is 38". I have used the broom quite some time and it does the job of sweeping very well.

Can this be used for snow removal on a wooden deck?

Only if the snow is very dry and less than two . inches deep. I use it on my front deck when there is just a dusting of snow. You need a shovel for wet or deep snow
