I've been using the radio for a week now each day, accompanying me while I work. Surprised by the sound, which I find to be excellent for the price, with warm bass. The reception (both DAB and FM) is very good, picking up all the stations in my area and surrounding area.I have mostly been powering via USB and it can be powered using my PC (so no plug required). I like the fact that if I have batteries inserted, I can remove the USB cable and the radio stays on and plays while I move it around the house. I can't fully comment on battery life but I have had it off USB quite a bit over the past 7 days (about 3 hours I'd estimate) and the level hasn't dropped from full yet.Some observations:- It's a shame there is no carry handle for easy portability- You can't switch the screen off (and level 1 is quite bright) - this is a shame for battery usage reasons- The alarm will not function on battery power alone- There is no standby mode when using battery power, it just switches off.- It takes a few steps to get to the alarm/sleep function- The minimum volume for the alarm is level 4, which I find to be too loud for my use. Not sure why you can't reduce to level 1. There is an option to remove 'loudness' but this results in a very flat sound.- There's no AUX in- The product page on PURE's web page for Elan DAB+ shows a video for the Elan Connect, which is newer and more expensive product with Internet radio.

I wanted this as a kitchen radio. For that it does the job. Sound is full for such a small speaker. Display letters a bit on the small side. Does need to be held or backed, as pressing the keys will make the unit go back unless stopped.It requites a 2A USB power supply (which you provide). That indicates that battery usage will be very heavy. i.e impractical.

Perfect for the office, kitchen etc

Compact, which fits perfectly on my kitchen shelve & you coukd take it holiday. I love that it comes preprogrammed with so many stations too & the volume can go quite loud. Very happy for the price.

Good sound quality, good looks, good colour display, moderate-to-poor reception, clunky user interface. If you are always going to run it on a mains adapter and you like the idea of a radio that can also serve as a (mono) Bluetooth speaker, you might enjoy this product. But for the love of all that's holy, don't run it on batteries.It's all a shame really, because the Pure One Mini gave the customer the option of mains-only, or an extra-cost rechargeable battery pack. I wanted to buy a second Pure One Mini, but it's not available anymore.

The aerial was broken on the first one, so I ordered a replacement. That one won’t work with batteries, which was why I wanted it. I have three other Pure radios and they’ve been great, but this model seems very poor quality control - that’s probably why it’s reasonably priced. So in summary, unless you’re going to run it off of mains, i’d choose a different model

I really like this it sounds good the reception is comparable to other radios I have and Bluetooth input is a handy addition. I personally prefer it is usb powered and takes standard batteries it gives more flexibility and longevity than if it had a built in battery.The colour screen is really good and while not necessary it makes viewing read outs much easier and the size gives more information per screen than other dab radios I’ve owned.The only downside for me is it lacks a dedicated sleep button.

Very good sound quality for its size. Easy to use.On the down side, battery life is not that great if you need to move it away from a mains/usb source to get a good signal and the dimming controls are inadequate for bedside use unless on batteries. Do Pure ever test their radios in a really dark room?

Apparecchio versatile per le opzioni di fonti; suono e ricezione di buon livello, mi piace meno la regolazione del volume che comunque non condiziona la qualità dell'apparecchio. Lo ricomprerei.

Die Tonqualität ist für diese Radiogröße und vor Allem für diesen Preis bemerkenswert! Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen preisgünstigen Radios mit digitaler Lautstärken- und Klangregelung, kann bei diesem Radio die Lautstärke sehr feinfühlig (besonders wichtig bei gewünschten niedrigen Lautstärken) reguliert werden.Der Klang - Bässe / Höhen / Loudness (Frequenzanpassung bei geringer Lautstärke) - kann in einem weiten Bereich eingestellt werden. Entweder durch Auswahl von vorbestimmten Klangszenarien (Popp, Klassic, usw.) oder durch einen frei einstellbaren Equalizer. Trotz der beschränkten Lautsprechergröße ist auch ein 'Hauch' von einem Bass zu bemerken. Natürlich nicht zu vergleichen mit einem 'großen' Radio/Lautsprecherbox - aber es reicht! Das Empfangsteil für den DAB+ Berich ist sehr empfindlich und funktioniert bei mir selbst im Keller mit einer großen Anzahl von Sendern. Der FM-Bereich ist auch O.K. Auf dem kleinen Bildschirm werden zusätzliche Informationen (Abbildung Plattencover, Textinfos, usw.) des Senders angezeigt. Für den Netzbetrieb reicht ein altes, bei mir noch vorhandene USB-Steckernetzteil. Ich kann das Radio wirklich nur empfehlen! Für diesem Preis kann man nichts falsch machen!

J'ai commandé ce produit pour découvrir la DAB , à la maison et en tous lieux , et écouter des stations numériques que je recevais par internet et l'appli Radio Garden et qui n'existaient pas en FM ( Par exemple AirZenRadio , une radio 100% Positive ! )

Ich kann leider nicht allzu viel über das Gerät sagen.Das massiv gebaute Gerät mit schönem Display hat einen guten Klang, wenn man es über Bluetooth verbindet. Leider war bei dem Gerät, das ich als Warehouse-Deal mit der Bezeichnung 'Neuwertig' erworben habe, die Antenne geknickt. Ob deshalb der Empfang eingeschränkt war, weiß ich nicht. Jedenfalls hat das Gerät immer wieder den Sender verloren, teils im Minutenrhythmus .Da das Gerät aufgrund seiner massiven Bauweise für mich - ich wollte es portabel einsetzen - nicht geeignet war und ohnehin Defekte aufwies, habe ich es zurück geschickt und von einer Neubestellung abgesehen. Da ich in ähnlicher Größe bereits zwei Geräte besitze, brauchte ich kein Drittes.Empfehlen kann ich es für jemanden, dem der Klang wichtig ist und bei dem es auf die Größe nicht ankommt. Dann hat er ein sehr gutes Gerät für wenig Geld. Gefallen hat mir, dass das Gerät mit Mignon-Batterien betrieben werden kann und auch mit Akkus sehr gut zurecht kommt. Wenn der mäßige Empfang vom Defekt kommt, kann ich das Gerät nur empfehlen.

DAB / UKW / BlueetoothLadekabel micro-SD zu USBGutes Display, Menüführung halbwegs verständig,Verarbeitung gut,Batteriebetrieb mit Mignon-Zellen möglich. Klang hat sogar etwas Bass/Tiefe,wenn man den EQ benutzt.Zum Gerät unbedingt ein einfaches 1A oder 2A/5V Handyladestecker für wenig Geld dazukaufen,da Batteriebetrieb nur ca. 12 Std NonStop möglich.Ich würde es wieder kaufen,habe bereits 3x Stück auf Arbeit,tägliche Nutzung ohne Probleme.
