Mount is strong and magnets definitely hold tight. As far as racking in mount, works great on full framed 4.0" models but not anything smaller. Still holds good on smaller ones but will not rack in holder. Holds both models great though. No movement or anything going over bumps or down the road.

Strong magnets, easy to install.This will be my 2nd and 3rd, works great from micro 380 up to Springfield xd mod 2 .45, one of the widest slide guns out there.

Just works perfect as expected. Really powerful magnet. In fact I tested the ability to be used with a revolver (Charter Arms 5 shot short barrel). Works great.

I ordered this for my firearm and still use it. The magnet is strong enough to hold some of my larger pistols and it does what is advertised. I just had a couple problems:The adhesion it came with barely stuck. I even gave it a day to keep hold and it wouldn't, let alone trying to rack the pistol.If you're using the screws it came with, it stays in place perfectly fine. One minor issue is it didn't rack some of my pistols unless they were in a correct placing on the magnet, as advertised. I had to place some in a very precise spot to have that action work correctly.I ended up installing it under my work desk, since it did not have a reasonable spot in my vehicle. My pistol sits perfectly where I need it, with an extra magazine along the side.The value is great for the product and it works well, yet the adhesive pad is terrible. Get around that adhesive pad and it works perfectly fine, especially for the price.

So far, I’ve only placed one of the mounts onto the back of a side table using what looks like Alien tape. After a few weeks, it has held up extremely well, no signs at all of it coming off. The mount keeps the weapon secure and out of sight. Still haven’t decided where to place the second one, but wherever I do, I know it will work well. Whether you use it for the ability of putting a round into the chamber or simply securing your pistol out of sight, this mount has lived up to the hype.

I gave this item 5 stars because it does do what it says it will do and the finish is nice as well. It holds my firearm and a magazine under my desk securely and safely. I REALLY like the concept of not having a round in the chamber for safety reasons.....just in case a child or other individual sees it and gets curious. It's so fast and easy to rack one in if necessary. There is ONE issue I ran into that I solved very easily.....my firearm...S&W Shield....is so narrow that the barrel would hit on the side of the mount blocking the mount from allowing me to rack the slide unless the barrel was perfectly centered. The fix? A thin piece of closed cell foam double stick taped to each side of the mount.......the firearm fits snugly, the barrel stays centered and the system works. EVERYTIME. I used both the mounting tape and the screws to secure the mount to my desk........I didn't trust just the tape.

This is a great product and would work great if the adhesive would mount to my car.

This is the strongest magnet I have tried for my M&p shield 9mm… I have it mounted to the right side under my steering wheel.. I can easily chamber a round in case of emergencies. Or just have it easily accessible when in need… I have used the screws to mount it, because living in Florida the adhesive doesn’t hold up that well, and the surface that I tried using the adhesive on wasn’t completely flat, as most vehicles insides are plastic with some sort of design on them.. I will update with a photo in the coming days
