The mirror portion of this product is wonderful. With only 4 years of use, the entire backing which holds the mounting elements has delaminated from the front convex mirror. I was assuming this mirror would last 20-plust years. This is a catastrophic failure and now the mirror has been rendered useless. I've tried contacting the manufacture, but so far to no avail. Very disappointing . . . . . . .

Installed easily. Works as advertised. Only concern is the long term ability to withstand harsh winter conditions due to how the structure itself is fabricated.

The mirror is beautiful and appears of high quality. The mounting hardware and instructions were poor however. For example the hardware included 2 fairly long heavy guage about 18-24 inch metal bars with holes in them and the half page instructions that came with the mirror states that you should bend a 90 degree angle to mount the mirror on a wall. REALLY? I would need like a shop press to bend a 90 degree on these bars. I found some leftover screws and applied parts of the included brackets to assist with mounting, but i wouldnt count on the included hardware alone to mount this mirror.

Received the item as promised however after following directions for mounting, in less than 24 hours, it developed a crack sown one side of the glass, it was under no strain or pressure, it just developed a crack after being mounted as instructed in less than 24 hours.

We love our new mirror. It gives us a great view of possible oncoming traffic when we pull our of our driveway. We previously had to ease out because of a very limited view. Our son mounted the mirror on a speed limit sign which happens to be at the end of our driveway. It is perfect.

Although it says "Circular Glass Heavy Duty Outdoor Convex Security Mirror," it is not convex enough to pick up true side views. Look for specific statements or specifications indicating convex views rather than just frontal view, etc... I have an old convex security mirror that puts this one to shame but there are no markings on it so can't recommend a brand.
