It work I do find that it 5 to 7 yard's different from other GPS.

When it's working, the Golf Buddy is an invaluable distance finder for golf. It has golf courses pre-loaded, and finds where you are using GPS. It does not use cellular data on the course. I use it with the optional wristband, so that when I walk up to my ball, a glance tells me approximately how far to the hole. It provides front of green, middle, and back distances. It has sufficient battery life for about two rounds, and recharges quickly. I have two problems with it. First, it sometimes takes several minutes to locate the course. If I'm at the first tee when I turn it on, it's too late. I have to turn it on while I'm in the pro shop to give it time to find the course. Second, it loses its location at least once during pretty much every round. It doesn't connect well with GPS from inside a golf cart. Also, if I inadvertently cover it, for example by folding my arms, it can lose its location. Once it loses location, it can take several minutes, sometimes a couple holes, to recover location. Sometimes I have to restart it. I'm still happy to have it, and I think it's well worth the price.
