Cannot do without it!
My old mallet was worn from so much use I had to get a new one. I love it, it always comes in handy in the garden!

It’s small..but sturdy
Wasn’t as big as I thought it would be but that’s my fault for not paying attention to what 8oz may be like. Haven’t used it yet but will soon. ‘ Feels sturdy. Easy to handle. ‘.

Decent tool but leaves black marks on everything
This is a nice small sturdy mallet but it leaves black marks on whatever surfaces it touches. For example when using the mallet to put shims under furniture I get black streaks on the flooring. When using mallet to push in pins on toilet seat I get black marks on the top of the pins. When I use it I have to bring cleaner with me. Advise finding a mallet with clear head instead.

Light weight mallet for small jobs
This 8 oz. mallet is perfect for when you need to give something a "whack" and a hammer is too hard and a standard mallet is too heavy or too large. I was able to fix the storm door closer in 5 minutes with a couple of whacks from this little jewel, so, it has already earned its place in my toolbox. You'll love it as soon as you need it!

Cheap, but works for small projects
This works for small, uninvolved projects (like hammering a shelf together). The rubber does chip off kind of easily, but you get what you pay for. It worked just fine for what it was needed for.

Works well enough for my purposes
Works well for my purpose: tapping chocks into place under the wheels of our camping trailer. One is usually camping in warm weather, possibly wearing sandals, and kicking a wheel chock into place while wearing sandals can cause big pain to your big toe. Or so I’ve been told.
