Sturdy build, easy to adjust and focus, build in LED lights, and the ability to take digital pics.I have needs to read the extremely small engraving for my carburetor jets daily. it work so well that i have this setup on my work bench. The LED light will light up the aluminum base to provide back lighting so i can see even clogging in these super small .32mm pilot jets. Best yet is the ability to take digital picture so i can send it to customer for proof.Super happy with this purchase, your use might varies but i have no problem with looking at thing less than .1mm.

So to be honest my expectations were lower given it's price but WOW this thing is cool. Wife & our teenager kinda rolled their eyes when I bought it... But after seeing the high quality and level of magnification this quickly became something they wanted to try out on their own.Personally I plan to use this while working on electronics as my eyes aren't as they used to be. As you can see from the image it really gives a crystal clear close up to help with my work.The remote control feature is a plus since using the limited buttons on the bottom of the screen can bump what I'm trying to look at. This lets me take and view photos & videos without accidentally knocking anything over.You won't be disappointed!

The microscope itself is very good. As far as getting a brand new one from Amazon, good luck. The microscope came and it was a bit scratched. So we got a replacement and guess what, still got a used one. Amazon can be so annoying.

Got it for my man because he likes to work on computer components & this is what he had to say about it!! Seems like no complaints!After using the device for awhile now I can tell you the following.1: love the battery of this thing it can last up to 4 hrs with light full force2: the image and the focus give you the perfect space to work with electronics or small delicate projects3: the ability to record video or take pictures of the stuff I'm working on.The microscope is easy to assemble and ready to use out of the box.

I purchased this tool for my kids to help them learn how the world is built. It's a great little microscope with surprisingly a lot of features for the price. I wish the manual was a little more detailed but with a little bit of patience you can figure it out.I like that they supply a 32gb micro sd card so you could record your footage. This is also very handy if you need to work with very small objects. The screen is big and clear. And it has internal battery so there is no need to be plugged in. You can take it anywhere. It's compact enough.

I thought this was the greatest thing when I received it, but it was already charged. We used it and loved it, then the first time we went to charge it we noticed it was awkward to plug in the charger, but we didn’t think nothing of it, we’ll low and behold once the 30 day return had past we decided to use it for only the second time, afterwards we tried to charge it but it was very difficult because the port was loose, the third time we tried to charge it the port completely pushed into the housing. This seems completely cheaply made. At this moment after only three charges I would not recommend this product. I mean it could have just been a bad unit , but with zero communication from the seller or manufacturer on how to fix this issue I have to recommend against buying… it only the seller or manufacture would repair or replace

Love this. I was able to examine a whole coin by turning the main scope 180 degrees around the base and placing the coin on another surface about 8 inches below the table where the base unit is mounted. The focal length of the scope provides for a large range of viewing. A weight on the base unit keeps it from falling over after the scope is turned 180 degrees. BTW, that silver piece replaces the clear plastic barrel at the end of the scope and is used when viewing items that have a lot of reflection (like proof coins). Just remove the barrel and snap on the silver piece.

This microscope was purchased for use in a planned project. The large screen was necessary so that the display was visible to others during the project sessions. For even better viewing, I connected it to a laptop with a 15 inch screen. The USB cable is included in the box! One thing to note is that it also includes a CD rom for software. Many new laptops don't have a CD drive anymore so I also (separately) purchased an external CD rom drive which will be useful for other laptops down the road. Of course, the CD isn't needed is only using the screen attached to the microscope.
