S.J. WestForgiven: The Watchers Trilogy

I finished this book a couple of days ago and it was a very good conclusion to this series. I still love the characters and we finally find out what lily is and what she can do for everybody. How is decisions are a life balance without giving anything away she has this way of making everyone be calm and able to sort out their lives Daily... She just natural born later find out why. Brain is definitely a natural natural natural natural born leader just the way he acts everyday I still love him . You find out more about will in the story also and what happened and it's really becoming how everyone has grown throughout these books. If you're looking for something spicy this is not the book this is a paranormal romance For young adults. I'm not saying it is a bad book I'm just saying that if you have young readers or you do like young adult romance with no spice this is definitely a series you should read because the writing is very good in it and it does keep you drawing too everyone that is in it.

This story gripped me form the very beginning. We don't think of God's angels being castaways on this earth, and S.J. West has given us exactly that picture along with the great love that God has for all of his creation, even those who have strayed so far from Him that they don't believe they could ever be back in His good graces. Yes, Brand was unbelievable sappy when it came to Lilly, but we have to remember that he was alive when all of the great poets were. He was here on this earth through all of the great playwrights. He learned from the best, and he only had two loves in his entire existence.I didn't see some of the biggest events coming. I was surprised at how far Lucifer was able to stretch his power before he was stopped. It was exciting and even frightening at moments. Characters were sacrificed, and when they've become dear to you, it's always hard to see them go. The ending was unexpected and left the door open to another spin-off series, one that I've already bought by the way. Were there moments that were a little over the top? Yes. Was some of it a bit far-fetched? Definitely. But this is what makes great fiction. The author's research into her content was obvious and the story gave us answers I know that I had never even considered. I think that Ms West has a fantastic imagination, and the way she mixes it with the reality of our world is magic. I look forward to reading the next chapter in this saga. Thank you for the adventure.

Never have I been so involved in a story so much that I cried like a baby when a character died but I went through so many tissues over Utah Mea dying you would have thought I was watching a movie. Thank you so much for this book I am recommending the series to my granddaughter. This is the first time I have ever given a review but I had to let you know.

As I read this last installment of the "Watcher Trilogy" I was taken through so many emotions that I truly thought I would not survive. I was thrilled by every last bit of the story. From the overwhelming feeling of love, friendship and a need to overcome and hopefully survive, to the horrible sadness that this was the end of being so involved with each and every character to the very end.All I could wish is for some how Author S.J. West would find a way to continue her amazing story for another few books. I was immersed into a truly riveting world that kept my attentions for the last 3-4 days. I truly felt like I was loosing loving and important people from my life..... Absolutely genius is all I can say of the talented S.J. West. I searched to see what else she has written, not ready to let go of my attachment to my new found characters to find to my surprise that she has written a continuation 4 book series. I am downloading the first installment to this series right away.But before starting the next series (even though it is a continuation) I had to re-read this Trilogy once more and I did!!! I felt like I was reading it for the very first time, the way it struck the cords of my emotions so hard..... A definite 5 Star read!!!

This conclusion to the trilogy was satisfying and sweet.For older teens and adults, read The Watcher Chronicles. It continues the overall story with cameos of this book’s characters with more mature writing, and a bit less sweetness.

Well, I liked this book even more than the other two. It had good character advancement because of the other two books. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the ending is very disappointing and it leads into another set of stories yet to be written...$$$ Hate that when they have you read a trilogy and end it without a strong ending.Ok here is what REALLY bugged me...It's like she finds formulas from books and then weaves stories around them, sometimes even borrowing complete characters and story lines. This trilogy had the exact formula as True Blood and she even copied some characters like Eric (Malcom) and Bill (Brand) and Sam (Will) and Tara. She completely ripped Tara's character from TB, using her name, race and she even hailed from the south with attitude. And BTW as far as BORROWING from plots- the fallen Angels are vampires? Please. However, that being said, there were MANY fun twists like the dinner scene with her mother and her new "boyfriend" that made me laugh with delight out loud and kept me reading, so I gave it a high rating for that.The upcoming books sound like another "borrow" from the Hunger Games...same formula and the plot is very similar.

Brand is a true romantic and way beyond understanding. The show is hands down perfection. Lucas is who? You have got to be kidding me! I do feel bad for Malcom. Robert got what he deserved in my opinion. Lily's father is who? Seriously. Tara in the store is hysterical. Of course who doesn't love a wedding. Utha Mae is the sweetest woman ever. The whole Prince Charming and Cinderella thing is adorable. I can't believe the ring belongs to him. The ending made me cry. This was beautiful. Priceless!

I read book 1 in one day, at first I was sceptical because I thought the title deceptive, I’m used to reading historical christian fiction and this did not fit the bill. I was about to delete when I heard within me ‘try it ad see’ so I did and have not regretted. thanks, I’ll now start reading number 2.

The watchers trilogy is one of the best story lines I've read for awhile must read for any fantasy fan.

Would definitely recommend this book won't give any spoilers. Interesting concepts and ideas about myths and legends you think you know

Did really enjoy this trilogy, think I will even go on to read next set that follows up these ones, books are well written and keep you turning the pages as well as twists to keep you thinking.

Very good story, not sure I'm gonna go straight into the next lot of this series. Going to try something else and come back to these
