Jasmine s34c nex cutaway guitar bundle with hard case
I bought this guitar for the thin neck because I have small hands, and I've seen lots of recommendations for this guitar, and it was affordable. The guitar is very nice. I like the sound. It also has that wonderful woody acoustic guitar smell. Seems like a good guitar. As for the accessories in the bundle that I like: the case is great, protective, sturdy, and fits the guitar perfectly; the tuner works fine; the extra set of strings is good to have. The book has tuning instructions and some useful chord diagrams.

Awesome Choice
I am fully and exceptionally HAPPY with this purchase. I bought this and sent it to my sisters camp so I could play when I visited.Action was great, sounds great and actually stays in tune. I was worried when I found out Takamine no longer made these but it does not disappoint at all. Well worth more than the $129 I paid. Highly recommend this for beginners and seasoned players as a “beater” guitar for beach or campfire playing.

Great guitar!
I had a Takemine for years and it got lost in the shuffle of moving so I didn’t play for a while. Did some reviews for a lesser priced guitar to be sure I really wanted to play again after several years. I was stunned by the sound and quality of this guitar. I got the package deal for $195 and a few days later it went up. I know why now. This is a great, quality guitar for a beginner or for someone who wants to try starting and not having to be embarrassed by the sound or craftsmanship. You can make some adjustments if you’d like but not much needs to be changed. Highly recommend this guitar! Thanks to Jasmine for thinking of guitar players that need a great instrument but either can’t afford the “high quality brand names” or not having to invest a lot to see if they will like playing. You won’t be disappointed in this s34c at all!

I love this guitar! A friend of mine actually gave me money to help me purchase this guitar and he recommended this one. It has a beautiful tone that I love. It’s lightweight, easy to play and the perfect size. A great gift for the guitar player in your life!

Beautiful guitar but 3 strings sit on the first 3 frets. would’ve loved it more to be a unbox and play. Now I have to send it to a shop for fixes

Perfect for learning or travel.
I spent a lot of time researching affordable guitars for beginners. I checked reviews both on Amazon and on established guitar reviewers' blogs. This one seemed almost too good to be true ... but so far it's just as good as they say.The sound is beautifully rich. I have small hands and short arms, but it's comfortable to hold and play. So far I can only play a few notes. So I had a friend with 20+ years of playing experience demonstrate, and it sounded so lovely. His reaction on opening the (very nice) hard case: "Oh, it's a Jasmine? Great." He said it was a very good brand both for beginners and professionals who need a decent guitar for travel. The tuner has been really helpful. Haven't tried the book or CD yet.My only complaint so far is that there was a strange rough (maybe rusty?) area on one of the strings. Luckily it was well past the soundhole, so I guess it's a cosmetic issue only the player would notice. It did make me wonder, though, if the strings had already been used. Weird. But again no real effect on playing or the sound. Two pieces of advice I got from my longtime-player friend: 1. Go to a professional to get the guitar "set up" properly. Especially adjusting the height of the strings over the frets (called "action" ??). I haven't done it yet but he says it makes ALL the difference in how comfortable a guitar is to play. 2. Expect to tune a lot in the first month, until the wood & strings are used to your area's temp & humidity. I do have to tune every time I play, but then it's only been a couple of weeks. So apparently that's normal. Conclusion: this guitar is affordable, beautiful, sounds great, and has everything I need now (as a beginner) and for a long time to come. I'm totally satisfied. :-)

Surprisingly high quality
I bought this guitar several weeks ago. Considering a very low price, I expected something that would need a lot of attention to make it playable and even so it would be good just for a dirty job. However, this guitar is awesome. Very neatly done. No sharp edges on frets, action is just right, neck is perfectly straight. It holds tune, sounds great and intonation is right on. Wow! I couldn't be happier.

Jasmine S35 Aacoustic Guitar
I am not very impressed with this Jasmine guitar. The head stocks had a few loose knobs and the fret buzz that I am still trying to fix. The resonance is OK and nothing to write home about. I may replace the strings and see if it sounds better.

Given the wrong Gig bag and a part of the inside bracing seems to have come off.
I was given a electric Gig bag in the bundle which definitely doesn't fit a full size acoustic guitar and this inside bracing piece seems to have come off as well, other than that I don't really have any problems but I would really like to have been given the right gig bag. I'm also sort of worried about the inside bracing and if that piece was truly important.
